Any answer to this Ben? Just I'm down to run at 7:49PM CET Or am I best joining and going at the end if I miss my slot? As there is a slim chance I may be home for that time.

Austin, you have the first choice, pick a free car here. (a better looking grid will be displayed when everyone will have his car).

| Sorry again that I couldn't do the qualy session, but seeing as I now have 2 days off to practice and should (knock on wood) be able to make the race, if I can set a good enough time could I join the race off the back?
Of course I completely understand if that's not possible, just thought I'd ask

| At ovals the setup is much more important than on road courses: if it isn't good you won't even be able to run safely; if it isn't perfect you will be inmediately off the pace. If it is perfect AND you are a great driver you will fight for honours. If any of the previous isn't there, you are screwed | |

| Good luck for the race then In the 2009-2010 races, some guys managed 50 laps, even 60 (the track is slightly different, but still). | |

| I can do about 55 but the loss in time and horrendous handling on red tires may not be worth it. | |

| My bet would be 40 laps with 4 stops. That's the winning strategy in previous years, but stilll the track is different so no guarantees | |

| If any of you are thinking of changing only three tires on a pit stop to save time (the left front wears considerably less than the other tires), it will only save you two seconds. I did a test stop yesterday. Still, two seconds could make the difference between getting out ahead of someone or not | |

| Friday May 30th – Carburation Day20h00 – Carb Day : 2-hour free practice session and starting procedure rehearsals. This session will be the opportunity for the drivers to race against their opponents on track before the race day. As qualifying runs are made alone on the track, we strongly advise you to attend this practice session in order to get familiar with your opponents, the slip-streaming effect and multi-car racing altogether. During this 2-hour session, a short 5-lap race complete with the starting procedure of the Sunday race will be held every 20 minutes. Yet another good reason to attend Carb Day . | |
