Only five have practiced thus far; me hopes this is not due to the server number being hard to find.   

Will there be any streaming for this race?

i've been away from sim racing for a while now, so might be on my end. but saw this event and thought it was pretty cool, and wanted to give the cars a try. refreshed 100x, and tried connecting via IP, both unsuccessful.

what is the proper syntax to enter an ip with a port number? i tried a : like this 91.121.135.76:34402
(i also tried it a couple times with just the ip but no luck)

any help greatly appreciated.

In your multiplayer.ini file, are concurrent updates set to 1500?

I have mine set at 1000, And i found it no problem.   

The other day I tried joining with the IP that I saw here: 91.121.135.76:34402 and it didn't work at all.
I tried 91.121.135.76:34400 and it worked, so it seems that the server port is not 34402 but 34400.

Is there any chance i could go near the end of the line for qualifying on Sunday, Just i wont get back home until about 8PM CET time.

i feel like such a dunce. when i read it i was like "yea, of course, did that years ago". but i copied a user folder from who knows where, so now i found the one i used with hso in the past, made sure the con updates was set, and voila. thx for the help.

as an aside, the direct ip with the 34400 port as mentioned above by ricard now worked for me too.

I think it would be best with the server issues to put all the potential advice to resolving it into one section, For example on the 1st post at the top. We wouldn't want a massive issue come qualifying on Sunday.

Also if you are signed up to the race, But cannot get on the server, Firstly try again please and post here if you have issues and then we can try and assist if need be.

I haven't still focused on Indy 500, but I'll try to watch for the IP issue, tonight.

Edit : I verified the IP port, I confirm that it's 34400 in the multiplayer.ini.

Remember for the qualifying order.
In first, the veterans will go by their number of car.
After the rookies will start, the qualifying order will be the list at the end of entry list.

Qualifying will be held one week before the race, following a procedure similar to that of the real Indy 500. This Pole Day session will consist in two segments of 120-minutes, totalling for 4 hours of qualifying.

Each car will do its qualifying run(s) alone on the track, each qualifying run consisting of four flying laps.
Cars will take their turn on the track according to their race numbers (#1 first, #2 second, …etc.). A driver asbent at the scheduled time of his qualifying run will drop back to last in the qualifying order.
