Think I finally got a good race setup, so hope to join the back of the grid

Looks like we will be having a decent size field after all   

ill never make it , sry

I won't take the start tonight, but I will be there to watch the formation laps and launch the race   

just lost connection   

trying to get in now... just got here :-(

ESC to the 12th lap, just no feeling, only boring sensations.   

Not the way I was planning to finish tonight, but from the early laps I noticed I couldn't do 4 stops, After 25 laps, my tyres were saying goodbye, so I went for 5 stops... Until the moment my wheel decided to go off calibration... lap 92 I think and made a big contact with the wall. Tried to fix the car but it was undriveable... Nice laps with JP and Austin.

Oh man, do I need a drink!   

The opening laps put me in a four-way fight with Steve, Richard and David for fourth place and the leading trio got away, not that I could've ever challenged them anyway. When Tiago dropped out I was quite confident I would finish third as I was a good bit ahead of the rest of the field and I had managed to wring some life out of the tires.

Apart from brushing the wall a number of times and a few occasions of snap oversteer on worn tires it was trouble-free run. When I signed up for the event I thought I wouldn't even make the race in case of a full field

There will be some cleanup to do. I am not able to show the qualifying results. I believe Martin or another admin have to manually add that into the results.

Was a fun race for me. I had the backend break away from me out of turn 2 right after LR went red. Went into dirt, back onto track and hit RF quite hard. From then on the car pushed a little. Best lap I could so was right at a 1 02 100 with fresh tires; pre impact i was running 1 01 500s. For almost the entire race I watched Carl as he was on one stop less than me. Just before his last stop I caught him and passed. Not sure if he had issues on last few laps before his pit as he came out further back then I expected. When I pitted I came out about .15 laps ahead. I was able to stay ahead to take 7th.

Man was that a long race!!!

I never found the hidden super Mario .5 seconds off your lap acceleration points on the back straight and front straight. Must require pushing a button at the right time    

Nice passing when lapping also JP. Very predictable. Same to you Austin.

Someone crashed out of turn 4 and escaped out just as I was approaching. I think I would have missed you but thank you for jumping out!!!

Yep, that was supposed to be very subtle. It was a prototype, but it worked really good.
Back to work now, I have 8 DTM tracks to tweak  

Great job JP    hell of a race guys was verry fun. Race was quiet for me besides the 2 cars spinning in front of me down the straits. I made some last second adjustments trying to get a longer run, car didnt like that. Great race all hope to see more ovals here on hso.

Tremendous experience last night
couldnt go for a 4stint race cause my tires went off after 40 laps and had to coast much earlier.
seems the front runners figger out a nicer setup for there tires

from lap 100 things start to getting interesting but trying to defend my position when the leaders past by and thought steve was behind me i nearly caught Austin in a simulair car by going to rapid to the right on the brickyard..
the car went off control and smashed into the wall like a loose cannon   
was hairy but lucky no one got hurt

great time yesterday, I was the slowest on track after 10 laps, and tried a mixed tactic (2 short runs, 2 long)
that brought me good battles and a nice race in general, thanks to Carl, Jason and Mick
drove well, liked the tyres consumption game and... this is such a particular racing experience !!

it ends suddenly after 140 (?) laps, with a "bug" in the wall that ejected me to crash with no redemption, sorry Mike (?) for the mess, smoke and flames

an unique night, it should have been even better with some more drivers

grats to finishers !


pour JP le bâtisseur, 3 bugs constatés (comme quoi ça a des avantages de frôler les murs):
-mur extérieur V4: le mur n'est pas "plat" tout le long, bosse invisible
-mur pit straight: si on frotte, on se retrouve coincé dans le grillage malgré le mur plus épais
-pile-poil sur le coin qui marque le début de la zone en brique, tout contre le mur extérieur: mini trou ou bosse invisible
