I had the exact same problem in the first Indy 500 here. It must be some kind of Indy curse

effectivement, je me suis rendu compte de ca trop tard. C'est qu'en m'entrainant pour la course avec ce mod que j'ai goûté au mur, que j'ai découvert le bug.

This was by far the longest race I have ever run, so just finishing was an accomplishment in my mind.
Started 8th; the first 15 to 20 laps were quite smooth. I was enjoying running with Carl and Steve. Then the first pit stops started, and I was suddenly in the top 3    I stayed out longer than I should have (was hoping I might get to lead a lap if the first and second place cars pitted) and paid a hefty price; my rear tires went away very rapidly, and I glanced off both walls on the main straight when my attention waivered Thankfully Carl and Steve got by unscathed. Pitted after that, but the car was now noticeably looser with the damage incurred. On the next stop I took a turn of wedge out of the car, and that made it drive much better, but the tires seemed to be wearing out faster as the race wore on. Had to pit 4 times instead of 3 for this very reason. Was catching Mick hand over fist with 20 laps to go, but by that time, I was too far back to catch him. That and my tires were once again shot    10th place at the checker.

sur le coup, j'ai eu mal, en miettes sans vraiment comprendre, après 2 heures de course et toujours en compétition: rude...

Aha! That was you! Man that was one Hell of a wreck. You left a monster black mark on the wall where you made impact. Thank you for escaping out.   

Another great event , got to battle it out with the usual suspects ..

Had some great laps with Jason , Ben , Francois , Mike , Mick and Jieffe
the battle was long and not without danger I was overjoyed to again finish this mammoth  race ..

I  had 2 ctd along the way both on turn 3 the 1st one when battling with Jieffe
we where both very close and luckily we did not tangle ... Then the 2nd one was nearer the end of the race and i was just starting to catch Mike a little , weird it happened again at turn 3 which damaged the car and made it harder to drive , i had to back of and just concentrate on finishing and praying for the chequered flag  ........

Very happy to finish  8th place overall considering the drama i had ...
Well Done to Jp for the win   and the work on this lovely track   
and Congrats all finishers  

I Do believe me and Steve are the only drivers to have entered all 3 Indy races so far
and finish the race

You forgot me  as if I'd miss a 500  
Tiago started the 3 500 as well, and finished the first one.
