| I sent him an e-mail days ago, but no reply yet. Probably he has moved on to other things. Anyway, we have already some good sounds from the original mod, plus the soundpack that you also found. And I have a Beta working; it's just that it doesn't sound as good as would like. The problem is that sound extracted from videos has an increasing pitch as the car accelerates, and that causes that the loop in the sound becomes quite evident when you are on higher gears. You need to change pitch a bit in some parts of the sound to balance it, and make it loop seamlessly, but by doing so you somehow lose a bit of the meat in it. Also, I was reduced to use only one engine sound, as I couldn't make it overlap properly (But the result is not bad). At least it DOES sound like an M1, that's unmistakable ... Give it a try yourself and share what you think: http://www.mediafire.com/?s1o897l23jk5t9a | |

| Carl, after lots of hours of trying and testing, I think that the best sounds so far are the ones from the patch you have previously pointed out. Having become quite familiar with the M1 sound, I can tell you that it sounds very much like the real thing. I will use it as base and add here and there a bit of mix and new sounds that I have captured, but I believe it will be OK to use it (Though I must do a major cleanúp in the sounds folder, as there are many unused around). Any idea who created it, so we can credit him? | |

| Sorry Alberto been out tonight ,rehearsal tonight .... The guys that made the original M1 sounds was Fonseker from GMSF and then a guy who made the sound patch was called modbaraban from Rfc... Nil also made some sounds which you can find as an add on for the Artcar but im not sure if i like them or not ... Not had chance to try the sounds yet ... | |

| I went through some new technical stuff for rFactor I found and recalculated the inertia values for the car, including all versions (PROCAR, Gr.4, gr.5 and Rally) and WHAT A CHANGE. The car has less inertia and is much more pleasent to drive (Though not easier) but not necessarily faster. And let me tell you something : The Gr.5 car with 500 BHP and only 900 kgs is a BLAST to drive | |

| The Gr5 and a rally M1 sounds great fun to drive i just could not imagine driving an M1 on a rally stage ...... IM Wondering how could we accomodate these in the mod as we are mainly concentrating on the Procar series .... Would it be possible to switch the pHysics say for the endurance cars ... | |

| It's actually very easy ... just a matter of including into each vehicle folder a VEH file for the PROCAR one, and another for its real class. Each one points to a different HDV file, and you will only see the proper one in the class you are racing So if you race the same car with PROCARS it will be up to PROCAR specs, and if you switch to Group 5 or Rally cars you will again see the car, but it will have different specs (And you will have to buy it again) | |
