Here is how booking will work for the 1954 series of races that will start on April 9 :
Each driver is by default assigned the car they had for the 1953 series
Each driver is free to change to another car for the 1954 series, provided said car is free
Changing cars is allowed until April 2 (8pm)

I'm happy to announce my renewal with the Jaguar team as they offered me the chance to stay one more season with the #8 car. They really want to contend the championship this year, even though the efforts are aimed to take the overall win at Le Mans 24h. #9 and #10 cars are yet to be defined, negotiations are still taking place.
I wanted to thank the confidence and trust they lay on me for this new challenge, despite the lack of good results early on this campaign.
Let's hope for the best!

Bristol mumbled something about giving me a giving me a car made by Aeronautical experts and not being able to beat 3 Maserati that had been given a weight penalty.
Cunningham said they had an old spare C-Type and Osca sitting around I might be able to use (though they seemed to be sniggering over the phone). It must have been a bad line. So, if possible: 4 3.4 Jaguar C-type 1.5 OSCA MT4/1500 Usa Sherwood Johnston

Just so there is no ambiguity, no misunderstandings etc. - I have just sworn a blood oath to the #26 Mazerati. Whether they wanted me to retain the seat or not, I may have been overheard muttering something about being buried in it before I'd willingly give up the seat.
