Car Booking Rules
For the 1955 series with the new version of the mod, we’re going to start from a blank sheet as far as booking goes. Here is how we are going to proceed :
From Monday June 26th to Sunday July 2nd drivers can freely test cars on the server (and offline too obviously ^^).
For this first week of testing, the server will be set on Monza, as it is a shorter and easier track than Spa which will host the first 1955 round.
On Saturday July 1st and up to Sunday July 2nd at 9:00pm (Paris time) people can post their three choices of cars in order of preference.
For example : #15 David Brown Corporation / #46 Ecurie Francorchamps / #3 Briggs Cunningham.
At 9pm Sunday the window for posting your car choice is closed, and the admins start working on making the entry list, trying as much as possible to give each driver a car as high as possible on his wishlist.
At any point during the weekend a driver can change their choice of cars. However please do not edit your original post but make a new one instead.
Once the admins publish the official entry list, drivers have to stick to their assigned entry for the entirity of the 1955 series.
Newcomers and drivers who would have missed the booking week can book one of the remaining free cars at anytime during the series.

Andrews on the move, yet again!?
'Rumours have been flying around the HSO paddock this week that Darren Andrews may be moving to pastures new for the 1955 Gold Star championship.
The Canadian-Australian driver, who has had one of the most chequered careers in historic sim racing (having wracked up one of the largest car repair bills in HSO history), is rumoured to be considering a return to what many consider his spiritual home, the Bristol Aeroplane Company.
Amidst pre-season testing, we caught up with Andrews' manager and fellow HSO driver Isidoro Jauregui in the Monza paddock, who had this to say about his charge (translated from Spanish):
"Darren has a had a couple of sub-optimal seasons and has not always performed at his best, in or out of the car..." (who could forget the infamous incident in the Monza paddock where he assaulted Daimler-Benz team manager Alfred Neubauer) "...although he really enjoyed his time at Squadra Italia Gordini..." (Andrews is rumoured to currently be residing at the KETHEA rehab clinic in Corfu and flying into Monza each day for testing) "...he didn't really enjoy driving the cars. We are in discussions with Sir George White about returning to Bristol, which Darren has regarded as his spiritual home, ever since they were good enough to put him through junior historic racing series such as HRRC ( ). We hope to make a firm announcement on our plans in the next day or two."
The plot thickens in what is possibly the most anticipated seasons in HSO history, with a new era of technical regulations and cars that place a renewed emphasis on mechanical sympathy. Based on testing times, the 2L Silver Star shapes up as one of the most competitive in history, with two makes, OSCA and Bristol, appearing to have a tangible opportunity to end the years of Maserati dominance in that class. We will keep you updated on developments as they happen.'

My choices are #21 Gordini, #33 OSCA and my last choice is #58 Aston/Maserati.
I prefer the 3Ls as I have yet to race in that class but the reason the OSCA is my second choice is that I’m willing to be the Guinea pig for the new 2L OSCA as I quite enjoyed it during testing. Also the good Eagle Scout that I am I came prepared with a backup plan in case none of those options are available in which I’ll just go back to the #1 Cunningham.
