I hope the rain plugin is configured as it should, because if it is wrong, then the rain will start, then end, and then start again and so on once per lap.

It went well in training at Spa '54 and Norisring '87, should be OK for F1 1979 I guess.

Check out the controls settings in-game, you can assign buttons and keys to HUD display. With those set navigate in the pitstop menu of the HUD to change the type of tires you'll get at next stop among other things (damage, fuel)

Well, short one for me. The turbo was pretty quick and so I was able to qualify as second behind a absolutely flying Gerard. Congrats again! At the start, I was very slow off the line as expected and was shot from behind. Was not able to restart the engine and repair and out. Didn`t even make one corner
Edit: Just watched the replay...I was moving into a Ligier who was right behind me (probably Andre). Just saw the Lotus from Paul flying from behind and wanted to give space...sorry guys. Definitly my fault. Was my first race start in several years so will try to make it better the next race. Paul, sorry to ruin your race.

Well that sucked. I got collected in a start straight crash then later spun trying to do an over and under. When I returned I think I clipped someone as I tried to turn. Lap 3 or so while trying to take 8th there was contact with me and another driver due to a warp I believe as he back way off before the turn and I saw him 2 cars back but then I went flying into the wall. RR tire gone, race over.

P 16 or so in Qualy. I was trying everything - got a PB. Me and David Jundt started next to each other and we both had way better starts then everybody else. T1 happened. Avoiding mayhem. P9 or something. Roadblocked for some corners - everybody who could rightfully snacked me pretty quickly. Paul Velasco tried to overtake into T1 - I saw this and didn t even attempt the corner and left room. Went off just as the tyres. Very unnecessary move mate . No space for two cars there. Oh well.
I spun somewhere on lap something, went on and finally the dog understeered out of the fast double righthander and the dumpster finally LIT for a final time... hahaha.
I think I saw a Ferrari trying to overtake me and the it suddenly dissappeared - was that you Mike? Did I cause something?

I do not think that was me Vadim.
Michal I saw the replay, I think his setup was hard to drive and he is getting used to the series. I can see him pushing badly during Timo’s broadcast. He seems to be eating Ferraris today as he clipped me at a really bad place and I went rear end into the wall
Just relax, sucks to crash out but it is fun doing so!
Edit: Different car caused my accident. Not too happy with that incident Gabriele, but I can tell your car was difficult to drive.
Whatever happened at the immediate start looked like a total cluster on Timo’s broadcast. I am not looking forward to seeing it. I got pinned to the inside wall trying to dodge a Renault (I think) that was sliding out of control.

big effort ant time to prepare for race and then end by this way, i nearly crash into him, so much slower car in T1 , lost all speed , place and then warm tyres much
when feel podium is doable, end this was hurts me a lot, very upset

I didn't need anyone to ruin my run. It took just 2 great runs to lose an eternity to get back on the track. In the end, a good duel with Gabriele but there was nothing he could do, he had no more tires to offer resistance. 7th place was not bad, but if I hadn't made so many mistakes, I would have reached the points easily.
