Last time in Mid ohio. Thanks for any advices.

Note sure if I understand you correctly Mertin, but even with smart crew OFF, you still have to switch off "Fix Repairs" in pit menu.

.........I think!!??

i think the point of this setting is for the pit crew to replace a punctured tire even when "no change" was set in pit menu.

And does exist any option to deactivate automatic repairement in plr?

Don't think so. It's more costly to "forget" to replace a missing wing or wheel rather than the opposite! So have it in your mind to make it standard to check the damage parameters in advance of every pit stop and manually deactivate repairs if appropriate.

Normally is a lot of time to change the rapairement during the race but i had to solve a couple times that i hitted a bit the wall in the pit entry and i have not enough time to deactivate it in pit menu so i spent 90s instead of 15s so whole race was gone due to this. Another solution will be to set some shortcut for deactivate the repairement but i dont know if somethink like that is possible to adjust.

Can we go under the yellow line in T1 and under the white line in T3?

As long as no slow moving cars are there, yes.

If you get even a tiny bit of damage in the car here, the car becomes so unstable and slow that you are a danger for the rest of drivers. Please everybody be well aware of this and consider parking any ill handling car instead of causing a yellow for the rest (best case) or taking someone else out (worst case).

Not important, but I am curious.....

Is it possible to increase stint before refueling of AI?

Is it possible, to stop AI taking low line on straights and high line on corners?

Nope! It takes a new AIW file which Dana does so well. We need to thank her profusely when she has the time to do them for us. It makes testing so much more accurate!

Also, a word (or two) to the wise.

While the AI aren't worth a damn to race with, they are use for getting test on your graphics settings for the actual race. This track seems to be a little more graphically demanding than what has been raced recently. Some display adjustments may be in order on the user end.

In addition, as mentioned above, this track is ridiculously abusive on FFB wheels! But, after turning my FFB settings almost to nothing, I have found another twist on the problem. I run a G27, and while it will run 2,000 miles at race speed at the setting I have found, the laps behind the pace car will shake your wheel much harder.

In all fairness, I add this caveat. The optical position disk in my wheel has much wear on it and I have a new brass one on order. Until that comes in, I am making compromises to make it live a little longer. My suggestion would be to test your FFB settings at caution speeds to see if you calibration is holding. And if it is holding calibration, you may still want to back down your FFB settings to save trouble in the future.

Good Luck to all!

The admins are not happy we have to start an hour earlier either.
We have to do this because of certain drivers who keep causing excessive yellows, making races end very late.

Make sure textures for the track are set to full.  You can reduce RAM load in other ways; lower the detail of competitors and the number of cars drawn.
