It's in the plugins folder. Just delete the grinding tranny files.

The only cars you will find under "IMSA74" are the GTU Porsches, the rest are in the normal HGT menu tree.[/size][/b][/u]
I'm sorry, but i can't find my car I made a fresh rF copy, installed only HistoriX from the link on the first page of this thread. What i see is the list of brands, not IMSA74 or other championships. And when I search for 911 2.5, I see only numbers 41, 42, 44 and 80. Any idea what am i doing wrong? Also, Daytona is the only track that kills the game instantly, not even loading screen, it crashes immediately without any error. Seems like i'm in trouble with this mod..

On top of HGT you must install our patch. If you only installed HGT, the cars are not there.

| It will modify the original Capri file, affecting only fuel capacity and consumption. There is a backup to restore the original one if you use the mod online elsewhere, as it would give mismatches. | |

| Finally got it working. The issue with car was caused by the patch, as Alberto said. I just didn't realize that the folder is at he top of the list. My bad, as usual But it was far worse with the track. Daytona just didn't work with standalone installation. Tried it several times (install and uninstall of the whole thing, rF, mod, track). Strangely, it was all right with standard rF installation. What i decided to do in the end, was to install HitoriX into the standard rF install, so i have all in one now. Also, I installed the 4GB patch. And this was done after a Windows reinstall, everything completely from scratch. I hope i'll have no more disconnection issues, otherwise i don't know what else i could possibly do... | |

| What's the differences between your standalone and standard install? What if Daytona doesn't work for other people? | |

I'm talking about one rF installation for all mods without interface adjustments (F1 78, F5000, etc) and separate rF installations for those that change the appearance of rF (HistoriX, Prototype C). I've been doing it like this for years. I hope there won't be any issues with all-in-one. Btw, there are 5,5 hours to go of the real Daytona 24. | The most recommendable option is one rFactor lite install per mod. Takes some more space, but it's the safest way to do things.
I have a big folder called "rFactor" and inside it are:
1) The stock, never touched or modded, rFactor big version 2) As many lite versions as mods I have installed, in separate folders (HGT, F5000, F1978, TCL, USAC, etc.) 3) A "LOCATIONS" folder with all the tracks. I edited the .ini files in all the installs to point to this folder, so that tracks are shared.

| i agree with alberto, all separate is the way to go, that way if 1 gets messed up all the others are still intact. nice touch on the sharing of the tracks folder, i only did this once as a test.
dont want to be a pain in the backside, but i've been speaking with Pascal Le pihive and we would like to swap cars if possible. the escort is a bit too much car for me, and he certainly knows what he's doing with it. i'd much prefer to be in a car that i feel i can make it to the finish line in. my fault for not giving it a full test run, i usually fully trial the cars before picks but i rushed this time.
sorry for the inconvenience, appreciate the consideration, dave

I added you, but please note that since this is not a full championship, you will have to check yourself the thread and claim the car in the shortest possible time. The admins will not look for you and send you PMs offering any car, it is your reponsability to post here as soon as possible asking for any free one. @Pascal/David: Jason will decide that
