--> PATCH 1.95 <--
--> HSO 1974 IMSA-SCCA ADD-ON <--If you already have a standard HGT 1.95 installation you only need to download the HSO add-on. It will only add a carset to your installation and will not give you mismatches if you race elsewhere with the standard HGT 1.95 mod. You will need to select the HSO IMSA-SCCA-1974 carset in the player selection, where it is listed as a different mod from the standard HGT 1.95 one.
Car SelectionThe field is divided in two categories : GTO and GTU (over and under 2,500cc), featuring 13 models of cars :
GTO (+2,500cc) : AMC Javelin, Chevrolet Camaro Z28, Chevrolet Corvette SR, De Tomaso Pantera GTS, Ford Capri RS 3100, Ford Mustang, Porsche Carrera RSR.
GTU (2,500cc) : Alpine-Renault A310 V6, ALFA-Romeo 2000 GTAm, BMW 2002 Tii, Ford Escort RS Mk1, VW-Porsche 914/6 GT, Porsche 911ST 2.5
Car selection is free, however faster drivers and newcomers whose overall simracing level is unknown will not be allowed to drive the faster cars of either category : the Porsche RSR in GTO, and the Ford Escort in GTU.
Car choice will be done on a race-to-race basis, as if each of the IMSA rounds was an Open event. However, drivers having driven a car at the first race will be automatically entered with this same car in the next race unless they state otherwise. Those wanting to change of cars will be allowed to, but in any case
no driver can drive more than three (3) different cars during the year.Championship RulesThe championship will be run over 10 meetings. These meetings vary in shape and size, ranging from 100-mile double headers to 6-hour enduros (
see the season schedule for more details).
In every race, between 1 and 3 drivers can share the same car, whatever the length of the race. However, it is forbidden for a driver to drive more than two different cars in the same race.
Two championships are run concurrently :
- the IMSA GT Challenge : opened to both GTO and GTU cars
- the IMSA GTU Championship : opened to the GTU cars only
Points SystemCanam-style points will be used for both championships :
20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1.
- the first 10 cars overall (GTO and GTU combined) will score points for the GT Challenge.
- the first 10 GTU cars will score points for the GTU Championship as well.
In the two double-header meetings of Laguna Seca et Lime Rock Park, each of the heat will award half of the points normally attributed, in both the GT Challenge and GTU Championship :
10-7.5-6-5-4-3-2-1.5-1-0.5.
As for all American races, all starters of a race will be classified, whether they finished the race or not, and will be eligible for championship points.
In the races in which they are allowed to participate, the SCCA cars will be eligible for GT Challenge points if they finish in the top 10. They will not score towards the GTU Championship.
All results will count at the end of the year (no dropped scores).
There will also be two constructors' championship along the same lines, one for the GT Challenge and the other for GTU Championship. Only the best car of each make will score at each race.

hso74Race Start Procedure--> Reconnaissance Laps <--Behaviour on trackA few behaviour rules :
- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.
- Chatting is
STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.
- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.
- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.
- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane.
