Not sure if you can the info, but Ontario was identical to IMS except the short chutes were banked the same as the corners. At IMS the flattened out.I lived in that area and went to several races, as well as reading all the news in local papers about the construction. The Ontario library has a section dedicated to the track.

Subject: Driver Files? Sat 26 May 2018 - 20:23
Hi, sorry if I'm necroing this forum topic, but I was wondering.
Did you guys ever get around to making the driver files for this mod?
I was wondering because I am actually a simming fan and might want to see some races with this awesome mod and would love to have the actual participating drivers represented properly (I have 1.0.7z version, but it didn't include any driver files).
If I'm using an old version and there's been an update that might include the driver files, I would appreciate it, thanks.

No, we never did driver performance files. You can however race with us in the 1974 mod, we will be doing Pocono in September with all human drivers

With all the modern sims these days I still keep going back to rF1, simply because of the HSO USAC 73', USAC 74', CART 88' & F1 78', entire field of authentic cars on authentic tracks, no modern sims do this.

Yep, all of the modern sims give you one car (or maybe two) and not an entire field of historic cars. Most modern series are now one make racing. I think that its a sign of the times. Maybe one day the HSO mods will be converted to rF2 or the new AMS.

If I had to pick a modern sim it would have to be Project Cars 2, the 917K and classic Lemans together are awesome, however after you purchase rF1 you get all this historical content, even WSC 1970 with the 917K etc. for free, for free !, I'm sure a lot of work went into each mod, and again it's free, I for one am very appreciative, thank you guys.

problem these days is once the whole mod community was into rfactor they seperated into rf2 assetto and pcars when they released so all best teams become devided and doing stuff they like themselves not as a whole team
if you combine for example the historix mod with longford67 track then you have the best looking and driving experience in a sim even today with rfactor
main problem is people dont want to invest in rfactor because they think its too old go to gpl and see what they did with the tracks and the cars most tracks looks even better then the stock rfactor ones! also the cars like for example the 71canams no harm guys! but its a fact, they look stunning specialy the cockpits and think that is a sim from 1998!

PCars2 uses a very very advanced tire model, and altough some cars are bad, some are probably the best simracing versions of their real counter parts i ever drove in any sim or mod, ever. I race pcars2 above AC any day of the week.

Hmmm. Coming from a driver's stand point, I thought project cars 2 tire model was good and bad. Rfactor, AMS and Iracing have the best tire models in my opinion. Its not to over done and it just works. I wish we could combine a little bit of every sim into one, as it currently stands every title has its Pro's and Con's, its like no company takes into account previous titles and just starts completely over.
