I am looking forward to trying these out when I get home! Too bad I will miss Trenton.
Fantastic job!

Is there a difference between Firestones and Goodyears?

I'm pretty sure there is no appreciable difference. Alberto could confirm this.

Brilliant cars these, don't usually get on with this kind of high power car, but these are great fun to drive.
Nice and easy to set up too which is good.
Just looking forward to the race now

I'm glad to see the cars are meeting with approval. Releasing a mod is a nerve wracking experience, as I can now attest. The kind words on the other side are a real relief to hear

On that subject, I want to make everyone aware that from Friday March 20th onward, the 1973 server will be limited to two classes of cars: ROUND2 and ROUND3; these are the cars that will be eligible for the open race on March 29th. Until then, you are free to try all the cars in the mod. Just wanted to make sure this was pointed out so people don't wonder why an Indy-only car won't load at Trenton after Friday.

Good Mod guys, looking forward to doing some of these races.
I've been having a few problems though, when I first tried the mod everytime I clicked on race my car would start and blow its engine, solved this by changing my controls so that now there is no buttons assigned for clutch or starter (I use auto clutch). Now the engine doesn't blow before I can leave my pit box but I find it very easy to blow the engine, even a small amount of wheelspin or a slide when getting on the power causes it to blow. Is there a setting or something I've got wrong?

You have to lift when you shift and otherwise be very careful not to over rev the engine. Anything past 9500 revolutions is the danger zone.

OMG love that sound! Great vid! It's killing me that I can't join in the festivities. Moving to my new place and the computer isn't up and running yet. Hope to be back online Monday night. Glad you guys are having fun

Not a series that has a massive impact on me personally, but my god it's fantastic! Physics, sounds, etc. are superior to any other single seater mod (serious competitor vs CTDP F105/06 and CART98). Now if you guys had made an early 21st century F3000 mod, life would be complete but I doubt the interest is there for that

The Texas World oval is indeed available, but there may be issues with the timing and scoring on that track. At any rate, we have it on our FTP. I am still sans computer, otherwise I would post it on Mediafire for you. Perhaps Monsieur Becnel could point you to it?
The Michigan and Phoenix ovals by TPSCC, while not 1970s period, are of good quality IMO.
