trouble with 1973 champ cars

Hi everybody
I have discovered this 73 champ cars mod with great enthusiasm, however I have a problem with the installation result with these messages: "error loading textures usac73_details for material USAC73". the sound is there but the cars dont show.
anybody have an idea?(I am still running my Rfactor on Win XP).

If everything has installed in the correct place then check that you have the file USAC73_COMMON.MAS.
It should be in rFactor\gamedata\vehicles\1973USAC

Have you considered taking part in our 1974 California 500 on Dec 16th?

sorry guys, I d like to race these cars - these drivers where my heroes as a teenager, and still are anyway,- but still no results with every installation I tried! (lite or no lite, I have the file USAC73_COMMON), could it be because you developped this for Win7 or 10 or what ?

Which downloads are you installing and in what order?

well I downloaded the "HSO ChampCars 73 v1.0"
and installed each folder in his place as I do with every other mod: rFM, uidata, and each folder from the Gamedata

There have been many updates and changes since v1.0, perhaps there are patches you are missing.
Give me a bit and I’ll compile my suggestions for installation...

Try starting from zero and installing the following items in order:

HSO 1973 Championship Cars v1.1 with this "C" patch and updated rFm

I found a V1.1_update, which includes the 1974 cars, that's all I have got

No, no.  You are jumping too far ahead.

Start fresh with the downloads I suggested, in order.

Hi Jason, I've been trying to re-install the latest 73' Indy mods, but cannot from these links here, not sure of the issue, any help ?

They are dead since we relocated to the new server.

Any chance of finding them somewhere ?

Didn't you hang on to the original downloads?
In any case, I don't have the time to hunt them down right now.
