Im having some windows/automobilista issues and Im not sure Im going to solve that until test raca. So, Ill join if I get all the sh*t together and working... and Im out on the weekend until sunday afternoon... mah

I have only just noticed the test race and have just been allocated a McLaren. I think should be able to attend if I can set the mod and track up ok. It will definitely be a test race for me and will doing well if I don't visit any scenery. Will try and keep out of the way.

Couldn't find the server tonight. Was it not up or am I missing something?

The Server will be up tomorrow and will stay up till race day. The Admins have addressed this about this 5 times now. For future reference it is important to read the previous posts because at any given time anything could change.

I did read it but somehow managed to miss the 5 or so questions on the subject. I won't mention it to the wife though as it will go in her evidence book.

Remember that today we have the test race. The server will open at 19:00 CET as usual.

Will it be allowed to jump into a car if it's full season driver hasn't confirmed his participation by the start of the qualification?

Of course. But it will just be for the test race.

No need to tell me that, I do pay attention to at least that bit

i was holding out hope that i could make the test race, but things aren't looking good. this moving stuff is for the birds ;P i do plan to pop in for a quick lap or two during the practice, but my car is free for the test race.

Confused at start if it was formation to shortcut or not, so I just sort of rolled away at green...
This is closest to real event though. No Formation, Line up and go Standing start!
Assume this is what we will do for actual race?

...at first I though you moved over on me a little, but I'll take blame. It was only 2 lap friendly match, so I was over ambitious and risky. Trying to take sneak up the inside after Juha made a little bobble in frt of us, track moves around a lot so room wasnt enough. Your wing, my susp damaged also.
Saw Juha spin after too, hope that wasnt me!?
Lesson learned before the real event

For as big of a track as this is, the areas for clean passing are few

It's a very long track, but also very narrow. I can't recall having passed a part where there could two cars fit in comfortably.

Yes we will, it also does say in the race thread that we won't have a formation lap.

It wasn't your fault, I usually perform all my stunts on my own.

I was trying to hard to keep you two behind me after making up a lot of places early on and spun in a clumsy way.

I'll be around for the Official Race.
