| Extra rules and info for Round 7 - Germany
- You are allowed to use the short cut at the North Curve/NordKehre when you want to start a timed lap, this saves you having to do a full lap of the circuit
- If you wish, you can continue to use the shortcut at the North Curve/NordKehre until you feel you are ready to tackle a full lap of the full circuit as in the real era. The game will remove any lap time you have if you take the shortcut. This can be used to get tires up to temperature or if you want to test out a small setup change for example.
- It is the responsibility of the driver taking the North Curve/NordKehre shortcut to make sure the track is clear when they are about to rejoin, treat it like a junction on a real road, you only go when it is clear. Anyone found to have ruined another drivers lap will be severely punished.
- It is the responsibility of the driver taking the North Curve/NordKehre shortcut to make sure that there aren't any cars following when slowing to enter the shortcut. Allow any following cars to overtake when travelling on the straight behind the pits. Anyone found to have ruined another drivers lap with be severely punished.
- Anyone caught using the North Curve/NordKehre shortcut during the race will be disqualified, just as in the real race. If you receive damage at turn one, you must complete a full lap, again as in the real race.

| PLEASE READ Hi all, You may be wondering why we have posted the thread so early for the next race. We have done so for 3 reasons. - So you can practice on the track more, as you all know the Nordschleife is a beast of a track - So you can report any bugs you may find on the track (Please post them here) - So you all have plenty of time to get used to the new tires which correct a few issues with the old ones. (v1.1 can be found in this thread) We will also be holding a test race the weekend before the championship race (Aug 26th) the start of this test and the rest of the timings will be the same as the normal race. Only difference is the race will be much shorter So if you wish to take part in this test, please state that you will be present, if you do, your name will turn Orange on the entry list. After the test has been completed, you must state your presence a second time and then your name will change to the usual green, *ONLY AFTER THE TEST RACE HAS BEEN COMPLETED CAN ANY ONE OFF CARS BE CLAIMED* So to summeriseSunday, August 19th: Thread is posted and open for people to say if they are attending the test race. Sunday, August 26th: Test race Monday, August 27th: Thread is open for people to say if they are attending the championship race, Official Server is launched, One Off cars can be claimed. Tires (Richard W knows more about these, i know slip angles were involved) Added the Monza R9 cars, corrected a few issues in the mod such as typo's, graphical errors, changes to some cars for future rounds as we found some new info on them. We also added a few extra one off cars too BRM will be entering 5 cars now at certain rounds | |

| i found the car wery ugly now on track, maybe too long pause but unable to make one lap, i miss the "feeling" of car, the pit exit is great test of driving skills too , usualy hit left or right side on "parking house" turn to pitlane | |

the pit exit is great test of driving skills too , usualy hit left or right side on "parking house" turn to pitlane The pit exit is easy, just take your time. Regarding the feel, that is the improved tires, some click with it straight away, other don't (Myself included) but once you get used to them, you will see they are massively better.

Yes, the game should remove your time, but just double check first.

It rejoins track before pit entrance, so I don't see why not? Warning: if you overshoot the turn in/entrance to shortcut, you will be warned of going "wrong way" a little bit too long, and can result in a DQ Sent from Topic'it App

Yes, the game should remove your time, but just double check first. One of things that we need to test during the test race. Well it voided the time for me, but we can check. Yes I noticed too Brian, people need to take care.
