No worries. I missed the upshift to third gear just before the right left sweeps leading to the run towards Flugplatz. My run towards Flugplatz thus was slow as a result so you probably did not have much of choice but to avoid bumping into me by going around.

I REALLY LIKE the Tow back delay!  
We must ask ourselves the amount of risk we are willing to take for a quali lap!  The real drivers of 71 were asking the same question, while also risking their lives. That element of fear doesn't exist at our PC's, but the tow back delay brings an extra concern/dimension to our driving.
This is meant to be a sim? Kamikaze laps are for Games

Pascal chill, your qualifying time was pretty damn good!
Austins Lap was Killer! And legitimately earned!! I saw him practicing a lot, it appeared possible to obtain if only I could perfectly nail all 374 corners on same lap lol But come qualifying, I played it safe (see above(tow back)) and due to other distractions was unable to go for another run.
Also if you scale it down to a more average circuit with a 90sec laptime, my gap to pole was under 1.5. Not pathetic considering

Yep, After getting out of a few fun, tense, but very unwanted battles by half distance, I set off to hopefully catch you for 4th. I had a half spin that I needed to reverse back on to track from, was able to catch you on the next lap. I was in no hurry to engage in another fight, and approaching that slow ass left hander let off much earlier than normal, but just as you described... What put me off was being too careful? Not your fault at all, but I did coast off to right to insure no contact with you. Suddenly realized I was in a bit of trouble out there, and tried to minimize the inevitable armco rub. But my rear wheel detached itself anyway. what a waste. Had I hit you square in the back, twice as hard, I would have been fine!
Maybe it was a cumulative effect of the light damage in turn one. (cars were floating in lag)
Or maybe I just suck

Thanks Timo. That explains why I able to get alongside relatively quickly. One of those situations where I knew I probably wouldn't get another chance for a long while.
