Server is back up with no parc ferme rules.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO DOWNLOAD THE NEW SRS FILE = --> DOWNLOAD <--
Drop into your Series folder and overwrite. If the file opens up a document, copy the contents into your F1_1971_HSO.srs files.
Everyone has 3 sets of tires again.

I'm an idiot, but how does changing a setting on the server require us to download a completely new file?

We had to issue a new srs, equivalent to an rFm in rFactor. It's not just changing a setting on the server.

In the long 120 minutes quali, chat is forbidden too? Just asking in advance

What a start of the season. I didn't know about the SRS file and i still struggle to install it, anyway. To say that i'm disappointed is an understatement...
