Well, this is just my third post, so I am about to start it all here

I have also given the 1974 Porsche RSR a try on AMS, it is simply amazing so I look forward to use it here!

Also, a question I have: will there be more championships announced throughout the next year, or will the two arlready presented ('71 F1 and Can-Am) be the only ones for 2018?

There will be open races, and maybe short championships on wednesdays but on sunday only those two series.

He's right, got AMS little while ago, was a bit skeptical, but found it's a very well done sim, worth every penny especially if it's on sale at Steam, now to see one screenshot of the 74' Foyt Coyote ?

AMS , little sceptical, today testet minicarts and CTD 2 times in 45 minutes, no addons, pure original content

AMS just upgraded to 1.5, and this is going to be the final version they say (Wether that means all new contents from now on will be payware we will see, let's hope they honor the season pass )

I understood the DLC coming out in January would be the last one (and covered by the season pass). After that, no new content or features I assume, just bug fixes if necessary

Renato has already publicly the remaining dlc for AMS will be free to those with the package.

Just make sure in patch 1.5 you stop those do or die laps people do, wouldn't want you not to qualify because there wasn't enough time to repair your car

Is the actual repair time simulated? I haven't tested the update too much yet, I only noticed it takes a few minutes to tow the car back into the pits. Limited number of spare cars would be fun

Limited tyre sets are a nice addition, although it only saves the wear and punctured tyres can still be used alright, as far as I can tell.

Dev notes allude to one more DLC package, which will be free. Then just patches and such.
They are moving on to "Reiza2018" or "AMS2"...whatever they are calling it right now.

I'll place my bet that there will be no payware from these guys in AMS beyond the DLC that is available now, which if you get the season pass, they've always honored.

They've got their ears to the grindstone and I think they understand it wouldn't be accepted by their base.
Not their style thus far anyways.

I have no concerns about that.
These guys are top notch devs and passion and love for creating the "perfect" simulator seems to override greed. Plus, they make their money elsewhere. Ever seen those prices on the gear Neils has :O Holy shit!
