*** 2018 HSO SEASON ***

While the 1996 BTCC felt a bit long, a shorter super touring season, like a 1998 STCC, would be just my cuppo' tea. If any suggestions are needed.

This is F1 the way I like it: less high tech.

Can I be Jacky please? As compensation for this being a season without a Belgian GP?

No Clermont-Ferrand either but we get Montjuic, the Nordschleife and a few mega fast tracks.

AMS? I haven't even looked at it yet. But I'm thinking we definitely need to become acquainted!

Am I right in thinking there is no F1-71 mod yet for AMS? So there is time to wait for the Christmas discounts? (I watched the AMS vid and saw that mod was done be F1SR. Have they something for F1-71 we are using?) I'm looking for an excuse to jump early!

And '71 Can-Ams? You just rang the bell and I am Pavlov's dog! Good GAWD! I was raised on those cars -- IN PERSON! From the age of 3 or 4, Dad had me at Mid-Ohio every year for those cars! (Notice all the exclamation marks? 'Nuff said.)

Guys, server cost ~750 €/year to rent, HSO has ~300€ on its paypal account right now. Give a little something to help the admins continue the fantastic job they do, if you can of course

I must admit i was a little worried about yet another rFactor based sim (i've had Formula Truck by Reiza). But i bought AMS (currently 40% discount with all current and future DLCs, for 39 Euro) and i'm glad to say I was wrong. Yes, it looks very familiar, but it looks better, drives better and the development list is stunning. And i hear it's very mod-friendly. I'm sure it will be a solid base for HSO. Looking forward to 2018!

My friends and I really appreciate HSO and it's historical content but don't race the online races for not wanting to cause wrecks for those that put lots of practice time in basically, we like the historical 73' and 88' Indy mods, and were surprised to read of the switch to AMS, so is HSO leaning rF or AMS concerning the 74' Indy car mod ?

It would be released for the two sims, but we are likely doing the online races of the triple crown in AMS. The turbo effect implementation is too important in these cars to be missed

May make the move to AMS anyway, seems no matter what graphic setting is applied to rF there is always going to be a slight shimmering, which is hated.

Kind of a shame, that we will not be having an oval season, but I'm looking forward to the F1 mod, the rfactor version of it is brilliant. Definitely trying to get a ride there.

I don't have Automobilista, but Game Stock Car was great, so I expect it to be fun as well.

I have been out for a few weeks but planning a comeback again. I'll have a look into AMS tonight and probably buy it soon. This game must be a nice improvement reading your guys opinions.

It is better graphically than what we are used to at HSO, and it is very friendly to our modding concerns, so it's a win-win.

I hope that the personal live will finaly aims for better future and makes it possible for me to join next season again...

yes, the discount disappears every time i put it to shooping card, so i was a little bit too fast. Its enough time until 28th
