| The rfactor version is finished but the AMS one is WIP for the special effects and FF fine-tuning, so I don't think it will be available until the entry list opens in early february. The rF version will be made public later, as we want people to get their 1st impression with the AMS one. I can say however that I have been testing the rF one and ... I'm speechless. Ricardo has exceeded himself, if you thought CART88 was good, wait till you try this. I have no words, it is GPL on steroids actually for me much better than GPL as I found the cars there a bit skittish and not truly connected to the road (Hovering over exaggerated slip angles with tires acting as huge rubber bands). But this one, oh boy, oh boy as Raul likes to say | |

| thats the package you want, Automobilista + Season Pass for All DLCs it was just on sale at christmas for almost 50% off, not sure on the € price, but is was 24CAD when on sale, now 46. looking up the price history, they seem to have a sale about every 2 months. there are 2 "levels" of sale, during the summer and christmas sale the package is about 50% off, the other sales about 30-40% off. 2017 April 3-10 June 5-12 June 22-July 2 summer sale (50%) Aug 28 - Sept 4 Oct 26 - Nov 1 Nov 22 - Nov 8 Dec 21 - Jan 4 christmas sale (50%) hope this helps. AMS is really good. i was on the fence before buying, but have been pleasantly surprised again and again that the changes they have made really enhance the driving experience. I could give more detail but then i would sound like a salesman good luck, dave | |

| I've always wanted a quality 1971-1973 season mod. It makes me so happy to know a 1971 is carefully being worked on, including tracks. François Cevert is my favorite F1 driver and to be able to take his Tyrrell around those circuits, in a game with Automobilista's potential (over rFactor 1) is outstanding. I have Automobilista basically exclusively for the CART 1998 mod, soon I'll have reason to play it more.
I will look to see if I am ever able to join the series. I got my setup back however all my weekends have been busy and often spent away from home (for good reasons, however!). Even if I may not drive, I shall follow the results here and on the FaceBook page.

| I think this is a really cool path to go forward from rFactor since AMS is basically rFactor with a comprehensive pack of improvements in everything (physics, inputs, force feedback, looks, sounds, menus ...) and it's my favorite sim for this reason.
I'm looking forward to testing this new mod, but I will probably go for one-offs during the season since I am already in the Can-Am series and these cars are really taxing to drive, requiring lots of practice (as the F1 cars will probably as well, maybe to a slightly lesser extent).

Another reason we chose AMS is because it makes things simpler and more intuitive for the HSO Factory staff. We don't have to re-learn how to make mods because the basic structure of AMS is the same as rFactor.

| the system is quite logic but im strugling to find the SCN file in the tracks folders do i need 3dsimed version 31.m for AMS gmt's?
i cant open them atm , message sais they encrypted
For me its mandatory to enter the scn file otherwise i cant give them the Hudson ker skies and change the cam and light blendings like you guys know
also i get red of all the SweetFx plugins cause i dont use them , need to investigate how i can use the Hudson Kerr skies icm with it would be awesome with the sunflares and other nice effects also need to know if AMS has active Rain and such
the stock tdf is unrealistic (blinding dust clouds that eats FPS!) , i copy all loose dds effects that we used for 1991 into locations to see the sparks and smoke effect , and this works next to a modified tdf i made for each track
a bit disapointed on minor historical tracks except the 88s and some old ones there are good but Asetto Corsa has realy the basket of awesome historical tracks that AMS lacks of most and are mandatory for HSO

If you are searching those on the official Reiza tracks, you won't find them because they are hidden. You need to see the Patrick add on tracks for that. Edit: as for historical tracks, rfacto2 has Monaco and Monza at least.

also for the cars from ASR 91 i want to see the tires which the gmts wont open because of a decrypted message

| mm ok most i recon are conversion from rf1 rf2
its a bummer cause now they blocked the scn and gmt models of cars i cannot find out how the AMS engine works on graphics and special effects to implement in the tracks
which means that straight conversion of rf1 MUST very high of quality to displayed it in AMS but missing the great benefits that Reiza uses like the special effects its indeed a rf1 plus but guys I'm pretty sure after a while it will be find out by one of us or many other modders rf1 took almost 5years to exploid it'sabitlities and still not there (wait for 91he v2.0 will blow your socks off!) we just started with AMS so get on with it future is good!

| Reiza always leaves one track and one car accessible. For tracks look in the Caruaru track. For car files I believe its the Camaro pace car. For .GMT's I believe you must decrypt them first. I know the guys at EEC know the procedure.
I did find this post which describes how to open the gmt's and importing into 3dsimed. Hopefully it helps you. http://www.thepits.us/board/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=17300

| I bought the AUTOMOBILISTA exclusively to be used on HSO. I'm looking forward to the F1-1971 mod. Any prediction of release and availability to download the mod? It would be interesting as soon as possible to be released so that we can get used to this new simulator.

| The mod will be released in february with enough time to test the cars before the selection process (Similar to the CanAm one). We (Well mostly poor David Sabre! ) are right now fixing the graphics issues that come from converting to AMS such an old mod, but the physics are finished already some time ago. You wouldn't believe how many graphical bugs and glitches appear when converting old mods, many things that were not noticeable before are now horrible to see and need fixing. | |
