Is the same as the BTCC 98?
No, it's an entirely different mod, with physics done by us here at the HSO.

I drove the '65 mod on some other side and enjoyed it, though it seemed to me as if the tire model needed some fine tuning.

One of the great things about doing CART 88 is that we FINALLY get to do a proper Delta Force intro! You can bet I will be putting something very special together...

I'm super excited about 2017. - F1 1991 might be too fast and too difficult to set up for me, but being born in 1983, this is THE year that represents the very best of F1. As long as somebody will respond to my begging for a decent setup, this should be a lot of fun - CART has been the love of mine for 20 years. I'd prefer 1995, but again, those are a bit too fast for my taste. So 1988 should be a perfect fit with well ballanced calendar and old school cars. - Kyalami 1000km got me hooked to endurance racing, i'll see how this will develop. - BTCC 94, again, this is one of the very best racing i've ever seen. I'm not into FWD, but there's no doubt that we'll see the most exciting door-to-door action here. Can't wait for it!

When I saw this.... OH YESS
If I still haven't got any steering wheel next year then FWD and AWD will be my friend for SuperTourer
If schedule permits I want to race in all ovals, specially the triple crown that year.
About F1.... dunno, I might kill the engine everytime I shifted

There's the series but there's also the track. We will drive on some of the most famous and/or beautiful tracks ever.
in F1 well...not really the most appealing (at least for me). But Spa in on the menu...just for that one it's priceless. For the racing pleasure there will be Adelaide, Suzuka, Estoril, Interlagos, Imola, Montreal. For the difficulty try Monaca. for the fame and speed Monza, Hockenheim and Silverstone (even if I don't like them). But there'll also be some rather ugly tracks: Phoenix, Magny Cours, Mexico. Barcelone and Budapest are neither awful nor appealing.
For CART well the mix between ovals and roadtrack is quite challenging. The three crown on Indianapolis, Pocono and Michigan will be very fast but tense races. Some tracks from USAC will be back as it seems (Pocono, Indianapolis and Milwaukee). Racetracks will be on very different and very challenging tracs...Long Beach is the US Monaco, Mid-Ohio is a pure beauty of a track, Elkheart Lake is one I'm most found of, Laguna Sega will be vertiginous. As for the other tracks....i'm quite sure there will be novelty in HSO. Don't think Portland, Phoenix, Toronto, Cleveland and the ovals one were used in official racing.
But for tracks the masterpiece will be the WEC. Look at what wait us Famous tracks with Monza to begin with then Silvertone. Then the greatest old track on Earth...the one to be win...his majesty the Nordschleiffe will await us. Die Grûne Hell...what else guys 24 hours Le Mans won't be there....but why not a 6 hours on one of the famous track in the world? You want more? next round will be on another fabulous track....it will be Spa-Francorchamps THE modern track Then we will drive on a really great and marvelous track. I've named the Mugello. To said the least it's the track MotoGP compairs to Spa...said the least We will go then to Fuji. Not really the most challengin...but beware. It's a tricky one with awful bumps waiting to throw your car of balance. And the final will be on one of the most beautiful and though racetrack in England: Brands Hatch. Geeeeee can't wait for that serie
BTCC will not be bad at all also. Donnington, Brands Hatch in both short and long version, Thruxton, Oulton Park both in short and long, Silvertone both in short and long, Snetterton and a newcommer (I think) with the little know but not so easy Knockhill.

I've driven a lot of them though... I just tend to abuse the throttle and kill the front tyres due to my wheelstand seat.
I've been faring a bit better on rF2, but still... I can't really get to grips with FWD.
Anyway...
Should we expect CART '88 to have one-off cars at each event and BTCC '96 to feature all cars, including independent ones, next year?

There will be one off cars at some events, yes, specially at 500 milers. Of course also the cars from regulars who can't attend the race will be available.
Regarding BTCC yes I believe the whole field is there but Richard will correct me. And you are probably eligible for the RWD BMW so no worries, but again Richard has to confirm that.
