have to praticipate in all series i think Very good lineup. F1 1991 is not my F1 favorite, but lets try. 1988 Cart will be very interesting, because of the mixture of ovals and road courses. Be there for sure

BTCC 1996: Count me in. Loved the Escort FWD last year
WEC 1982 / F1 1991, one of them will collide with my activities in a Rfactor2 League.
CART will be the same, perhaps i can make some one-offs.
Great choice of Mods for 2017. I dont like F1 1991 so much, 1994 would have been my dream.
I hope we can do some sort of fun events with Rfactor2, the Group C Mod ain't that bad.

I’m very happy of the choice of the F1 Mod. Not too old … I hoped secretly that the open race of this Mod in July was a test for the next season. I know that HSO is Historic Simracing but now, 80’s and 90’s are historic too. Thank you very much. I am very impatient to know the calendar because this time, I can drive for the start and I hope to get a full time car early in the season … Perhaps I will try too the 1996 BTCC championship but for me, the priority is the F1 championship ...
All is wonderful here ! Organisation, championship and Mod proposed, broadcast, quality of drivers and organizers, replay, results ant the best, you follow exactly calendar and rules of the real season that you propose. Sincerely, I am very admiring of the result ! Congratulations !
Just a black point for me. I had already spoken with Jason White and Ben Paulet. It is very difficult for me to prepare correctly each race because practice time is too short. Only one week to prepare a race is too short. Is it possible to have track on server at least 2 weeks before race ? Or, at worst, the Friday before the race week to have a complete week-end to practice ? I do not know if I am alone to think that but for a beginner like me it is a real problem. Like I prefer to have result that I deserve I use personal set-up. Some drivers sent me their settings on some races and I thank them again but I really prefer to have the result I deserve and for me, the settings are also part of the simracing.
In all case, thank you very much for all the difficult work to propose this level of quality ! Sincerely again, congratulations for all the HSO staff !!!!

There is a 85 mod Martin. But it is a league edition version. Those are the Devil's work in HSO's eyes.

When you look at the "classic" F1 mods for rFactor you will find that if you put aside league editions, you only have the following "historic" seasons:
66,78,79,91
We raced 78 this year, 66 two years ago, and saw 79 as doing almost the same as 78 again, so the choice was more restricted than you could think at first sight.
There is the possibility of doing decent physics for other years, yes, but we have been so busy with the USAC73, Indycar88 and Supertourers that we had no time for such a huge project. This does not mean it will not happen in the future, of course

Wasn't it possible to get under that "hood" aswell(or whatever mod needs fixing)? But I guess getting such a F1 mod right even more a pain than the Super Tourers
TBH, I wish the 1990 season had a HE version, sadly it's just LE. There's a car that I'd would want to race even if it's crap, honestly.
When was our last '91 season? Was it 3 years ago?
Richard, didn't you actually take an emotional win for Leyton House at Adelaide, when guys like Greg&Yves retired with brake failure?

@David, the 1990 mod is a HE, but a poor one at that. The suspension files look wrong too.
Yes I did win the last race at Adelaide, my first outright win at HSO.
We choose 91 again because we have been working flat out on the CART 88 and Supertourers. There is only so much we can do unfortunately.

How many mods have you been looking at over time? Sounds like you took a peek at several mods that potential to be "amended", but then had to say "nah, too crappy under the hood, even if we can change it" ?
That '90 mod also looks rather... "different". It looks as though the cars were of a different scale than the '91 cars. But IIRC, both are from different modding groups.
Understandable though, having to fix the crap of other people to get a HE one takes time.
@Juha: Volunteering for Menu(I also wear glasses!) or Winkelhock/Ravaglia. But without having driven the cars, hard to say what would feel good to drive. I hope the onboard cams are good too.
I am proposing Jacob/Jonatan for an all Swedish line-up at Volvo
I aslo noticed there was a Swiss entered for some events in '88. Never heard of him and didn't score a point though.

That was the thing I 1st thought when I saw that the BTCC championship will be run...
I'll be sure to give the Volvo a run, if I like it, I'll ask for it. If not that then maybe a pug, too bad there were no VW's or Citroens in the BTCC back then, a Citroen CX or XM TC would have been great
