Ok, I'm running 196-193 with Q engine. Fairly stable occasional rear end step out when really pushing it. Pretty happy right now.

Right. I have about 5-6 laps at 196 mph, about 2 dozen. at 195 and 40-50 laps 194 and lower. Key is just the right amount of stagger. Too much stagger will kick the rear out as you accelerate out of a corner. Balancing act between speed through the corner vs acceleration as fast as possible out of the corner. Very tricky, requires great consistancy.

I'm having some concerns and misgivings over my entry and may decide to withdraw.  For the event to be run with no caution periods behind a pace car means a very, very long time behind the wheel and more to the point, in the chair for that extended period without a break.  If we had caution periods, I'd pit for service and take the opportunity to get up out of the chair, walk about a bit and stretch if only for a few seconds.  That might mean falling down the order somewhat but I'd time it to stay on the lead lap and it would pay dividends over the long haul.  Without that available to me, I fear the full 500 miles would be arduous to the point of dangerous to the lower extremities.  I'll consider the decision over the next few days...

Doni, I understand your situation. I would still give it a shot in qualifying. That day should be exciting.

Yeah come and race, you can always park the car after some time if you really feel uncomfortable. The yellow flags would not change anything, you would not be able to park the car during them anyway. A pitstop is around 25 seconds, you can get up from the chair and stretch yourself during that, and even lose some more before restarting if you need.

Or just get a comfortable enough place to race that day, shouldn't be too hard to use a ouch instead of a chair if only for once

#    What ever is free when the cars has been given, prefferably something similar to the Kayote since it's not too quick but nice in the handling compartment, good for an Oval Rookie (to be fair, I've only liked the Kayote )

That's interesting because the Kenyon-Coyote is one of the more bizarre-handling cars in the mod.
Incidentally, #19 in this race is an Eagle-Foyt, not the #19 Kenyon-Coyote. Just want to make sure you knew that...
