WOW! That was intense! Smile

I missed my time slot window and showed up late. Patiently waited for my # to be called and gave it my best. I could have risked a bit more speed but the slightest error would have resulted in disaster.

Thanks to Jason, Richard and the full team for setting this up. And hearty congrats to all who ran and qualified.

Now to devise a strat to come from the inside of the last row to win. I have a plan...

Great to see some variety of cars in the back rows. I was scared this would be the eagle and mclaren parade, specially because nobody picked some of the oddballs in the end, but fortunally it won't Smile

In 1973 #16 Eagle/Offy driver, Lee Kunzman, started the 57th Indy 500 from the inside of row nine (25th). In 2015 I, driving the #16 Eagle/Offy, will be starting the inaugural HSO Indy 500 from the exact same position. Serendipity.

Marc Cohn (Mark Donohue started 3rd in the #66 Sunoco Eagle)

We had/have pretty much constant conditions as well. Something they didn't have in 73.

Yes they had a cold & humid day IIRC, but anyway at Ontario they did 201 mph laps in ideal conditions and the track was a clone copy but with some more banking (Hence faster). So I guess at Indy we should be slightly slower. Will take into account for the final version of the mod :antoine:

For those of you who did not qualify or were bumped from the 33 car field --

Jonatan Acerclinth is the first alternate for race day, so if one driver does not show, he will start 33rd.

If more than one driver does not show, we will allow non-qualifiers to fill the back of the field on a first come, first served basis.
