| Great race! Thanks to those who made it happen.
It was amazing that after 170 laps Dave Miller and I were only seconds apart racing for 9th. Everyone one else was laps ahead or laps behind. Then at some point after catching the draft and passing Dave I hit the wall hard, twice (lap 184). Damage was severe and hearing everyone coming, I decided to hit escape to get out of the way but it didn't take me out and only brought up the "exit to desktop" screen which my mouse wouldn't activate nor any other button I pushed. I could see people coming around both sides of me, luckily didn't feel any hits, and finally did a hard reset to bail out.

| Well, now I know why my car suddenly shot to the left. I never felt the outside wall. I had just come off of 4 and was running fine and it just veered left on me. Hooray for netcode.
Great video.

| Congrats Richard!!! and all finishers man this was such hard racing in these awesome cars my racecar was pretty steady for a top 6 but only the pitcrew had different toughts, quess they opened the JW Black label crates already after lap 1. i llitterly screw it up at the pitstops , 1st i decide to put the nose against the wall just before the box, repair time.. 2nd pitstop i litterly ran dry and crawl into the pits so a possible battle with Jukka was gone and only gained positions by others who look for different exits of the track.. also the fuel was burning alot more then in test so i even had to give up p6 by a splash n dash but event that was waisted by a big shunt by Trevor i believe ( in race i thought is was a backmarker running so slow but the blue flag was given so I hold back and got hit at the rear ) another repair so p8 it was The most hairy and thrilling moment was lap 11 for me , think Jason can admit backmarkers and sudden reduce of speed require fast reactions with a flipcoin outcome, this one turned right but could end my race very early 3 wide pass on the grass gained 3 positions Wanne thank HSO for a Superb Indy500 and a great month now its June , the month of Le mans? hint hint | |

| I had forgotten to thank all the lapped cars, you all did an excellent job of making room, at least for me. I never had a single problem with anybody I overtook, and I hope they did not lose much time letting me through. The more I think about it, the angrier I get with my bad luck at pistop 1 ... Those 30s repairs really disconnected me from the leaders, whom I had already lost a bit after needing some time to overtake Peter and Gerard in the first laps. I was faster than Peter and he finished 4th, so food for thought | |

You're welcome If you had run I would have shipped the trophy last week so it arrived before the race The box is all packed up Richard. Should ship today assuming work is not a cataclysmic nightmare this morning. And on to the next TA race. PS: I was damaged pretty bad in that last shunt. My RF wheel was probably about to fall off. After the impact I was reaching for the ESC key and was amazed the tire was still there and not flat. Afterwards RF had a mind of its own and was melting pretty bad at race end.

| Congratulations Richard , you bring the first HSO trophy in Europe. America 0pt, Europe 1pt. I followed the beginning of the race, but I couldn't see the end, because of a visiting friend. Thx to all participants for coming, and huge congratulations, to Jason the father's mod, the modding team, Konrad for his last broadcast on rF1, and HSO. It was a great moment for me too, when I pitted and announced the GREEN, to hear and see all the car pass me. | |

| Congratulations, Richard! I viewed Jason's YouTube vid and it was very exciting. In fact, that was the only way I could anything unfold in the race. After downloading the replay cap, I couldn't play it as the graphics just went haywire. Something must be borked with my install as after successfully joining the server yesterday and running some laps, everything went South. Several CTD's with Run Time errors. Prompts about '72 Eagle wings being F'd up. Perhaps this was as a result of other players joining after I did. Dunno.
I'm going to kill off the install and reload it later today. Hope that cures the glitches.
Congratulations to all who finished. Congratulations to the HSO for staging this monumental exercise. Bravo!

| Hard but really enjoyable race! I have to thank everyone who made it possible, all contestants, and congratulate Richard of course, as well as all the people who made it to the finish! I knew i didn't have the pace to win, but i was aiming to be the first non offy, and to beat at least people who were a bit faster than me thanks to my fuel strategy, and i believe it helped me Setting up the Coyote was a big task, the car doesn't have a front wing, so i can't just ramp up the downforce to offset the big big weight of the car in the beginning of the stint. So either i would just run 4 shorter stints to try to lose as little time on the track as possible, or run 3 long ones and play the waiting game. I choose the later, because it would not give me so much pressure to push hard (wall claimed a lot of people yesterday). The laptimes would vary by almost 2.5 or even 3 seconds between heavy and empty. I was able to create a setup that even with only 825hp allowed me to be really fast down the straights. With equal fuel, even the leaders had a really hard time passing me if i didnt lift. But the car would get really quick when light, and i could post times in the 46 second range, wich was really good considering the speed the leaders could attain when also empty. A good point of this car is that it's soo good in traffic that i actually would improve laptimes if i could follow someone and use it's draft. That sure helped me keeping my consistency and not make mistakes. I was maybe overly cautious in the beginning of the race, but i soon got into a faster pace, despite seeing the leaders crashing in front of me and almost taking me off Was really hard physically and mentally, but aside a few moments when i had to lift off because i went too low or too high into corners, it was a big mistake free run, even entering the pits, and that was my main goal, and i don't think i could have gone any higher in the final standings with the car and strategy that i ran It was a great event, and the tee vee sure made everybody cautious in the first lap, i was amazed that there was no big pile up I hope i can run some other race like this in the future, and hopefully then my car will be a bit more competitive due to my lobbying on the regulations | |

| Thids was a really tough event, fun and interesting, but tough. I've actually never been a fan of oval racing, I respect it, but never found it fun to watch. Racing on the other hand, this was my 2nd ever oval race (only previous experience was a league race with S20000 touring cars on Race07 at KW Speedway (simar banking to that of Atlanta I think) so you can probably understand my struggles to understand everything. For those of you wanting to watch tht oval race, PM me and I can provide a link When chosing cars the Kenyon were the only car I could drive consistently without throwing it into the wall and considering I'm a novice, I was never in for a win either way so took that car to be able to enjoy the race Qualy was interesting, Alberto, I don't know if it was me or the car, but there were no difference in lap speed with the Q engine and the least boost R engine. Did consistent mid to high 49 in practice with Q engine runs, did low 49 in the race with the mid boost R engine Anyway, was too slow in Q but was let in due to others not being able to race, struggled a lot on both my qualy runs. Coming up to the event, Richard W helped me during the Q and then Jason offered to help me out. It seems I was on the right way but I weren't extreme enough. That made the car a lot more stable and managable, still a real b**** in traffic, but I blaim that on its weight And so came the race. Decided to drop back a bit on the start to give myself some space to manouver in case there were a massive pile-up. Well done to everyone on making it through without any massive incidents, bad luck to the one who span though, sorry for not rememberingthe name Was able to stay within around 10 cars leanghts of the pack during the opening laps but as soon as the leaders came around I lost a lot of lapspeed due to the fact that the car didn't want to run within 6 leangts of the cars in front without pushing out so dropped about 15 kph in the turns when being lapped. After a while most had lapped me but Alessio, also struggling in traffic, had dropped to within a few seconds so hoped that dwe'd be able to have a bit of a battle but sadly just before it could commence, Alessio lost the front end while being lapped and found the wall at 3 Went by and had a, apart from a few scary lappings (there were 1 or 2 drivera that were a bit too eager into 2 at times), calm end to my first stint. A few laps into the 2nd stint, I think, there were a really cleanging moment when someone came out of the pits, me on full tank and still cold tires with 2 or 3 fast guys behind leading to a 3 wide on entry to 3 with me on the outside. Sorry Gerard for the contact that was my fault but I simply had to check up otherwhise I'd hit the wall on the exit causing an even bigger crash I got lucky, apart from slight damage in the rear (leading to a somewhat looser car) survived it and could fight on. The rest of that stint flew by and the stop went well. Next stint was generally uninteresting apart from a moment in 2 when I was in treffic, turned in early to compensate it a bit but found the pit road nit with the left front (the word for it escapes me at the moment...) leading to the car wanting to spin on a dime. Luckily for me I drive a Mustang in another series so instinctly didn't lift off fully but instead kept just a little bit of throttle with close to full opositelock and managed to just save it with adrenaline serging through my body. That was a really scary and close to crash moment After this I took it easy for a bit and then did my last stop. Came out and acfew laps later Gerard came out close behind me. We had a nice little scrap for a few laps but then his tires came up in temperature and he was off like a scolded rat (Swedish expression wfor seeing something or someone dissapear in a flash). Cruised it home but took the time to pit for repairs and tire changes after I clouted the wall out of 1 after a bit of dirty air caught me out. Braught the Kenyon-Coyote home in 12th place, a fitting tribute to mr Kenyon I'd say Managed both my aims, I got a top 20 finish and I managed, just about with a 947, a 48 lap in the race, this on a clean lap with no lappingor draft at the end of the 1st or 2nd stint, 2nd I'm almost entirely sure) Thank you to everyone who made this marathon possible and thank you to all participants for making it a fun, interesting and tough event Congrats to everone who took part and, especially, Richard on the win Treated myself to some milk and a piece of chocolate after the race, after all, bringing the Kenyon to the finish was a win in itself | |

I just checked and the upgrdes work correctly. Maybe you did not buy the car in the menu and thus when you go to track the upgrade is not really installed because you don't own it The other possible explanation is that you are too new to these cars and kind of racing and your improving more than offset the difference in power
