| Is there any way to know where our final pit spot is for the race? It¡s important to plan braking in advance _________________ | |

| And check during the pace laps that the pit spot hasn't changed. _________________ http://newarchive.simjunkies.org/discussion/9582/asj-f1-1982-race-4 | |

| It's only moments before the scheduled start time. Score me a DNS. Sry.
A family issue erupted which made my participation unlikely. Further, I suffered several run time errors after joining the server. I got prompts for 1972 Eagle wings and global wings FU's. Somebody using tuned files? Swell.

| Il y a des moments où je comprends les coups de gueule de Greg.
En tout cas, quand on a ce niveau là, on ne s'inscrit pas pour une course de 500 miles, c'est simplement grotesque.

| Well, that felt horrible. Two guys racing too hard for the lead early on, one having a loose condition with a car right behind him and two potential race-winning cars ruined within the first stint of a 500 mile race. |

| Had a loose condition coming out of 4, and BOOM into the wall, race over. Great dicing with Jukka early on. Wish it had lasted a bit longer _________________ | |

| Paddock TV is experiencing technical difficulties Please stand by EDIT: Konrad restarted his rFactor in an attempt to fix the connection, but now he cannot rejoin because the server will not allow spectators in mid-race Very disappointing, but I guess this is the way things go sometimes. _________________ | |

| 3 times in the pits for damage, after the third time I took Yves with me so decided to end my race there even though damage was repairable. Thank you admins and PaddockTV for making such a great event And congrats to the winner, whoever that may be _________________ Alfaholic. 1999 German F3 1989 Italian Superturismo | |

| Oh damn what a stupid way to go out Car did really feel great, I was enjoying it inmensely and gunning for a top 5 despite my botched 1st stop Forgot to disable repairs and while my HUD showed no damage at all, the idiots in my crew thought they had to fix something and I lost 30 additional seconds there Angry with that went out again and got it wrong with the clucth and reduced my engine life to 21% in the pits The engine life went slowly down but I felt I could finish the race. Then bruised the wall in the straight while fiddling with the HUD before my last stop and killed the remaining 12% of my engine, 40 laps from the end Anyway great race so far, and I am looking forward to the next season With a 1000 HP car I could be challenging for victory _________________ | |

Sorry Mike Becnel, I hit Escape as soon as it turned towards the track, it never Escaped until after you hit me. No worries Jason. The hit hurt bad and made the last half of the race a bit of a challenge. When I switched to my fast setup it was no faster than my safe setup and harder to drive with the now bad loose condition from touching you. Once Richard and I were on equal fuel I was barely faster than him. I am guessing .1 at best and he had me by over 14 seconds once his tires warmed up. I did not let up though. If he burped I was coming! Congrats sincerely Richard. If I had to lose to someone I suspected it would be you all along. Nicely run race and I was crying watching you stay out so many extra laps Great race HSO! Great mod to all the developers. Was glad to be a part of the testing. And now back to our regularly scheduled program. PS: Glad I did not mail order that pint of milk in a glass bottle from same place the Indy 500 one comes from _________________

| Really sorry to those that got stuck behind me once Ben had started. J Fitch who was ahead had trouble getting moving, and I rolled up to close behind him as did Bovy behind me........Had no idea what to do, stalled, and sat there thinking engine would restart after few seconds..........didnt even think to try start button.
And to Peter during warmup....passed me on inside of t4 and I decided to immediatly get in your tow not thinking you would be pitting....
Absoloutly gutted and feel so foolish...Watching was some consolation......The usual suspects of solid drivers.
Bad luck to Marc and Rocky...You both just wouldn't let up so early in race....Left a big hole in the lead battles from then on.
Thanks to every one who made it happen....A championship gonna be crazy. _________________

| Wow, Toughest race I've ever done Because of that Finishing P9 Feels like a win to me Treated this one like an endurance race from the start so never went out looking to set the track alight, I was always aiming to just run my pace and stay out of trouble and the wall. It was pretty lonely for me once things settled in, though towards the end I was racing Lee for 9th though he went off near the end which was a shame. Hopefully now the MVS Racers crew will forgive me for crashing their car in qualy now Well done to Richard for the win and thanks to everyone for making this race happen | |

| I don't think I've ever been quite so excited as during the pace laps waiting for the field to be let loose After the first series of pitstops there really wasn't anyone to race against so my race really consisted of lapping backmarkers and watching the leaders go by. Had a couple of slides but stayed out of trouble and only ever made contact with the wall once, I think. As unfortunate as people dropping out was, it allowed me to run in top 10 and after Alberto retired and Tyler apparently hit some trouble I found myself in 4th place after my final pitstop, with 20 laps to go. - Jason White wrote:

Great dicing with Jukka early on. Wish it had lasted a bit longer That was great indeed, it's a shame your race ended the way it did Unfortunately the accident which allowed me to finally get past also screwed Dana and, I think, Gerard over. On the second half of the race we were running closely for a while after pitstops and she sure was fast

| Thanks HSO for this great race!!! This was one of the best simulations that have participated in my nearly 15 years of online simracer. A month of preparation, choose the best set-up, the best engine for the race, the qualifying day, the day of carburetion and finally 500. Unforgettable, I´ll see the repetition now enjoying it, in spite that my race was not brilliant, and then will write a report it. Thanks HSO. and all those who made this marvel reality !!! | |
