| Very happy with my 13th on grid, after having 1 afternoon of testing and a power nap was fresh and ready for Q, 23.0 and a new PB | |

| 17th in a Fondmetal, very pleased. First three laps were quite frustrating, but did a decent lap on my final effort. I knew I'd qualified anyway, so I took a few more risks in final sector and it paid off. Still 2 tenths off my PB, but can't complain! Aim is to finish higher than I qualified for tomorrow. Going to be tough. | |

| Bon, pas tout compris. Sur mon petit entraînement j'étais dans les 1'24, les 2 premiers runs en qualifs affreux, mais en 1'24, et amélioration de 1"2 au drapeau à damiers | |

I just don't understand how I am each time seconds off Greg who drives the same car. And no, I am not moaning. I am just running out of ideas what I am doing wrong. I am so frustrated right now it hurts

See my questions above. And post some screenshots so I have an example and see where it happens. @David : I came to the conclusion that I don't understand open wheelers with medium or high grip. For some people, it's just not possible to be fast with totally different kind of cars. We're in the same boat

We're in the same boat You seem to manage it though JP, or is there a big difference between the Jordan and the Minardi? I saw that you improved quite a lot on your last lap, by far over a second faster. It seems that you need(!) to lose the rear end grip to turn the car, but I hate it! I spin each time or turn in too soon and drive into the walls. I can't get fast enough round the corners even with different lock and the front end grip is lacking evne though I ran 60/59 wings at times! ... So if we're nearly in the same boat, I guess I'd need a Jordan or Tyrrell to get anywhere, because I lack the understanding to make my car as fast as Greg and because I lack the skill to drive this kind of mod? And which open wheelers don't have medium or high grip? Everything below the 80ties? I don't think I am usually that bad with open-wheelers... But here, I watch people going so quick of which I am usually battling with

| David, this seems to be a problem you come up against quite often now. It wouldn't surprise me if you told me that you did your very first laps just moments before Quali started, or even during Quali. Seeing as you joined the server firstly without the anti-cut shows that is probably true. That's half the problem. You're in so many damn leagues, you never have enough time to practice for them. It's something that I used to do in the past too. But for 2013 all I'm doing are a couple of series here, a couple of series in GPVWC, RDLMS which is only going to be once a month, and GPROC which doesn't exactly require practice, so you're excused for that. I, for a fact know you're not slow in openwheelers. Just do some damn practice. | |

| By looking at the real life championship standings, I'd rate the Jordan a little higher than Minardi, but in the mod I don't know. My qualifying session shows that I had 20ish laps of training at Monaco + the Adelaide test race. and that's all with the mod. I had a decent result because Monaco is special, I'm useless everywhere else. It was the same with the F1 79 and the ground effect + qualify tires. | |
