I've made myself a 90's version of Monaco, and now it's truly a Grand Prix de Monaco, not the Monac-ish the current version is. Even those cars can be enjoyable now

ftp://91.121.135.76/rFactor/circuits/Monaco01_gp4.rar I barely tested it because I knew it wouldn't be used, but good enough for some hotlapping.

1:20.85, however I'm interested if it is legal the way I cut the nouvelle chicane. I'd suppose it was too much?

Indeed it would be better to keep 2 wheels to the left of the kerb, but I don't know how we can control that

Maybe by putting the biiiiiiig curb there was at the chicane until 1998 or so

Maybe Gui you could provide us some pictures which is cutting there and which is not, since the kerb can be very easily ran over.

I thought cutting was a pretty clear concept, it's when none of your 4 wheels are inside the white lines that delimits the edge of the track.

Don't worry, there won't be any more doubt with the new (and accurate) curb at the chicane : either you stay on the road, or you learn to fly Should be fun to watch.

Well, if you hit the kerb with half a car, it looses the front a bit, so I don't encourage anyone to cut it. Of course Alessio's cut is a bit too much; that's why I take this line for the chicane

Ok to avoid any discussion about who cut the chicane and who didn't, JP created an anti cut patch, adding a kerb high enough to prevent any cutting. Download link is in the first post. It is of course mandatory.
Bon pour éviter les discussions de qui coupe et qui coupe pas, JP a créé un patch qui ajoute un vibreur assez haut pour empêcher toute coupe à la chicane. Le lien de téléchargement est dans le premier post. Il est bien sur obligatoire

Thanks Adds to the realism, with the higher kerb we now follow the actual racing line of 1991 better
