@David: If you haven't done it already, I would recommend a dedicated install of rfactor lite for the TCL legends mod. If you have it, deleting and making a new, clean one plus the fix could be worth trying. It's just 5 minutes and it could fix the trouble.

Just a quick note, I believe in 1988 they used the chicane on the long Back straight just after Cascades (Banked corner at top of the track). Not sure if there is a correct version of the track out there.

If this layout exists for rFactor I didn't find it

. I think the Birmingham layout too is not the exact same one as in 1988...

Haven't tried Birmingham yet, Don't think the layout changed that much, Anyway that's fine version we have, Chance for the Sierra to stretch its legs, And then crash because it doesn't brake too well!

After some practice I can say that if Her Majesty's Highways are paved like this track, I can well understand why vehicle insurance in the UK has such a hefty premium, and why car repair shops blossom everywhere pig
