Sadly these great events keep clashing with my calendar for another league... Perhaps I will be luckier in 2013.
Good luck to all.... | |

| I will sign up for Alpha Romeo 75 Turbo.
Me and Oscar Hardwick will be in the same car. (I don't know if he needs to confirm this, but that's it, as it stands!)
Can't wait! | |

| No, sorry mate the car was not in the race . This race was part of the one-off WTCC so I guess the picture for the Wellington poster was taken at a previous European round, but ALFA-Romeo only sent a works Tipo 33 to Wellington, no 75s... | |

Strange... then why is a Alpha 75 in our race, and the 6 series BMW isn't - when the BMW was in the real race? Not to be picky - but if you look on the wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1987_Wellington_500 The actual line up is totally different to this race's lineup. 5 RS500s, and 10 BMWs... Compared to our lineup. Toyota Corolla and Sprinter are available on the mod, and were in the actual race too. It was the same at Bathurst - the Volvo did not run in the real life event. If this was a league I would say it makes sense to stick to a certain line up of cars, but if these are one off events, why not try to be as real to the actual event as possible? I don't mean to be rude but I thought historically accurate events was the whole point of these races...

| Well Jon, I think that is quite realistic and more kind than I would be.
Contrary to historical accuracy if it was up to me there wouldn't be any RS500's at all in these races and if there were they would be in a separate class.
I've driven the RS500 and after ringing the neck of a Volvo 240 or Skyline and to drive the RS500 immediately after in a very relaxed way (effectively just cruising) and still be quicker than the other Class A cars is very annoying indeed. | |
