| In the lead by over a lap, despite having flipped the car and hit about 20 walls. Went to swap to my teammate and he teleported out in the ocean - no way back. I'm chalking that one up as a win _________________ | |

| Almost flipped the beast once. I think Ruben and I were in a close competition for finishing with the least number of straight body parts. He jad a crease in the top of his car so had me by that much.
Good passing by you speed merchants. Thank you. _________________ | |

| What a great race ... A Great performance by my team mate i got home as soon as i could i checked the rfactor monitor and was really happy to see Richard had made his way up to a very creditable 5th Place ... He pitted to do are driver change and we dropped down to 7th Place ...I Was really surprised to see a few laps later that i was back up to 6th ... I Could not do anything about Tiago in front in the Volvo he was way to fast ... I could however Maintain the gap between me and Mr M3 Verplanken so was overjoyed to bring her home in 6th place and the lead BMW ... A New Endurance team is born Great Job Richard Congrats to Balazs Kiss | Janos Hegyvari Sierra Team for the win what a drive by Oscar and Jon in the Alfa i could never get it to go that fast ... Congrats all finishers _________________ What we do Monday to Friday Keeps us up with the Competition ... What we do Saturday and Sunday Keeps us ahead ... | |

| Incredible race for myself and Jon. We never expected to be on the podium come the end of the day with so many fast as you like Sierras milling around. Gutted for Ben and Mozza having a pit lane bug ruin what was most probably their day.
The first stint from my seat was incredible. I have no idea how I lead so many laps in an Alfa. The car isn't all that fast in a straight line and trying to slow down without spinning is a challenge in and of itself. Battling with the Sierra teams at the front was amazing fun and hard work seeing as they went a good 20 mph faster in a straight line and were not all that bad when it came to slowing down.
Jon is still fairly new to sim racing and did a great job of staying on the lead lap for me through the middle of the race, if anything he was more consistent as he stayed on all fours for the race whilst I had a dent in my roof early in the going. Pit stops went off without a hitch which gifted me 3rd from the Mercedes crew along with Ben and Mozza's un-welcome retirement.
That said we both drove our socks off and now are so happy that we did because a podium against these fast drivers is a fantastic feeling for us both.
Congratulations to our winners and everyone who competed in this fantastic event on a very tricky track.
We'll see you next time out whenever that'll be.
Oscar.

| Not a great race for the #14 Mercedes. I had big FPS issues in race condition, especialy in the fast chicanes, and made several costly mistakes here. Antoine also broke his shifter during his stint, not cool. Still we were in contention for a podium finish around lap 100 but a lenghty repair and a flat tire after yet another collision in a chicane, made it impossible for us to challenge for 3rd place. Well done podium finishers, 0.1s between 1st and 2nd after 4 hours of racing is amazing | |

| Brilliant race guys! Oscar really suprised me with taking 1st place for almost his whole stint. I couldn't watch when he was battling hard with the Sierras. I was on the edge of my seat! Like Oscar said, I'm still new to sim racing (Bathurst was my first race in a proper event, after driving rFactor for a few years) - so I was very nervous to take over the car when it was in such a good position. Being slower than Oscar I wasn't in a position to be battling with the Sierras, so I struggled to stay in front of them. I had great fun racing with Antoine de Mautor in the Mercedes! I believe we were fighting for around about 15 laps or so? He got past in the end, and I almost got back past him, but had trouble getting past lapped cars! Racing is racing though, so it was all in good fun I still can't believe we put the Alpha on podium. I don't think anyone would have guessed it. I know I didn't to be honest! I'm very happy we managed it and I have to say thanks to Oscar who drove like the devil. Commiserations to Ben and Steve who unfortunately retired, and a huge congratulations to the winners! I remember Kiss was a lap down at one point - well pulled back!!! I look forward to racing with you all again soon _________________ "It never gets easier, you only go faster" - Greg Lemond | |

| Wow!! That was so much fun! Being my 1st endurance race i was very very nervous at the beginning, Got an ok start, Got up the inside of Phillipe M going onto the 2nd long straight but then i took the corner too tight and spun on the barrier....So i was at the back.... Anyway cue the most fun i have had while being a member of this site, Had some great little fight catching and passing people, mainly Phillipe M and David Cid, managed to Work my way up to an incredible 5th when it was time to hand over to Carl. So after 97 laps of racing i can safely say, At the time i thought, Never doing this again as i had the worst numb bum ever and i needed the toilet like you could not believe! But after all was back to normal, I cannot wait to do another endurance event, Hopefully as part of 'Team Britain' A great 6th place finish and as Carl said 'The highest BMW' Thanks to HSO for setting up these fantastic races, Thanks to Carl for teaching me how to do everything needed to do these events. P.S Cheers for the nice comments, Much appreciated, Oh and well done to the winners, but also well done to all the finishers!! _________________ | |
