| The Lotus is quite a handful here at Spa. It really wants to spin out everytime at O'rouge and the rest of the circuit it feels like a real truck | |

| The fact is that i'm running with a Williams, 1:52 as time is not so great that it seems to be. Take a look on the 1:53 made by Guillaume Siebert with a simple Dallara, it's surprising. PS: Hi Tiago, pleased to meet you again | |

| Kevin: I can get into 1:58, maybe 1:57 tops, fast tracks really don't favour the Lotus. The front is really poor in fast turns and the engine doesn't help a lot | |

HOLY crap I was not expecting to see any 1:52s. DAMN I am slower than I thought. Quite similiar astonishment here ... You say you are slower, whats your car? In my first race, Adelaide, Lorenzo made me a setup and i couldnt understand why my knowledge doesnt work out on the cahnges i amde at all. (for example softer srpings dont always give more grip, every technical function ans edges/extreme points, but i didnt know what was applying there.) So in the end i sticked to Lorenzos setup by helplessness, but afterwards, Martin Audran was very kind and sent me his brAun Tyrrell setup ( THX MARTIN!!! ), so i could read the sane figures (yes, Lorenzos set is extreme) and was able to finally get a car where i want it. For Spa, after some days we can develop a setup (in case you have the time to be on the practice server ) Will like it when i go on the server and see guys practicing at the Ardennenachterbahn!

But yes, you did say that and I agree it is going to get worse :p I am more focused on the Interseries race now. Am hitting a wall right now trying to knock another second off there.

I think its great Wow. You see how Michael Schumacher starts perfectly. He goes off like a rocket. His first ever start in an F1. Without experience it is hard to judge braking point for turn 1. he does it so good that he bunches up at the rear and reclutches. still his accelle off is perfect. But hell, the y clutch went ... THat is more than just astonishing. When the very first time he ever sat in an f1 car at silverstone he broke the track record. his driving style is so different, likes of Herbert and likes of Verstappen claimed he had better material. they werent even able to bring the cars around one lap without spinning. Same said Gerhard Berger who is one of the guys who simply changed to prure admiration. but well, with the oversteery benneton, you go to spa and take eau rouge flat out before the world class drivers do it, with a default setup. that is, how 1,5s gap to his team mates came together in qualifying. simple admiration. that man is onld, he is going to the 50s. give the old cars back and he isnt 2nd when it rains in 2012. he will be first. in dry or whatever condition. maybe 2 years later alonso will be at his pace in 91s cars. thats my opinion.

Estoril, end of season 95 private tests. Schumacher in the '95 Ferrari, Alesi in the '95 Benetton. Alesi was 1s faster that day. Schumacher isn't the superman you seem to describe, he just happened to have the best car. Period.

| Wasn't the '95 Ferrari a bit of a handful aswell as the "truck" Prost described to be driving? Even Superman wouldn't be able to qualify a Fondmetal on pole I suppose ...and so "Supermacher" couldn't make the Ferrari of that year go faster Or let's say: The Benetton suited Alesi better than Schumacher the Ferrari that moment. But yeah, basically also "Schumi" is just a mortal being. There are no gods at the wheel. | |

| Perhaps is because the benetton was driver friendly and the Ferrari was a handful? In qualifying for the estoril race alesi was a second off schumachers time. But anyway I thought was more cool seeing the Ferrari engine blow in fiery fashion after only 1 lap! | |

| What degree of rotation do you normally use with these cars, and how much steering lock? Anyone running less than 15 wings? The cars seem to love going straight, but not to turn | |

yep, the video was a great one. thats what counts, i loved it. but i am also a msc fan i said before. and saying schumacher "was just lucky, period" is really not an argument. 96 he was breaking ferrari track record either at day1. he never talked about that, he just kept working 14hours flat. that makes his success deserved. not a spoilt kid like that Vettel boy. Hamilton was also not easy as a youngster. Today many people are at "Hamilton is at fault." seems like a carousel in modern f1 of blaming some drivers.

The cars seem to love going straight, but not to turn if it is in high speed corners, you can a) take off rear wing b) open the differential at discs or on power side or give more "pump" if its on low speed corners maybe take out front suspension and front bump, get the toe to + in the front, get more caster or increase the rear suspension. you can also take out front ARB and increase rear ARB but be careful if you take grip out or get grip in, its not the same
