Its probably something to do with your graphic detail setting.

if your on AMD the last driver update screwed the skys in my rFactor as well,so had to go back to previous one.

If you've got the "zebra skies" that I've sometimes had, it's more than likely your graphics settings.
Some of the tracks used here seem to require that you max out your textures setting for the skies to look proper.
