Have you downloaded all of the updates? The AIW and SCN updates.

Engine blew up again... Third time in the last month that I've had engine issues. Really wish my luck would turn in this series.

Well that was disappointing. A car flipped in front which hit the car next to me which then hit me flipping me over the debris fence and out of the racetrack. Race over.

Fuel.....or lack of....mega twit....

seemed to be doing ok in the old car.

The ole 86C just couldn't hack it. Did well during testing with a few others in the draft, but the gearing proved to be just a touch to short and I was having to back off or slightly peg out before T1 and T3. Problem with that is that each time I'd back off, I'd lose the draft...once the draft was gone, nothing I could do.
Backed off it a bit, but must have been too late. Probably started the race with a not so good engine. Don't think I was "that" hard on it...but, is what it is.

just when i was about to pat myself on the back for avoiding the wreck infront of me, i forgot to avoid the biggest danger, the apron

had a good run going, seemed like some were willing to work together to close gaps while some were racing hard but still conserving engine/fuel. not sure the point in that

This was my 100th HSO start. I was delighted that it happened at Michigan, let alone with a Penske car. That pole position was a major surprise and I made it purely thanks to the setup from Michal Janak. And then the race. The car was absolutely fantastic. It drove like a rocketship, I could choose any line and I was mostly cruising on boost 1/2. The biggest issue was my diarrhea, as I ate some 3kg of apricots today. Actually, I really had to jump out for a quick poo during one pit stop Anyway, everything was all right and I was just getting ready to move forward, until I saw one car spinning on the grass. I went all the way up to avoid him, but he slid right into my way. Repairs took nearly 8 minutes, but I wanted to continue and enjoy some drafting. Sadly, there was another yellow, I didn't notice a part of another car laying on the road, I hit it, got a puncture and it sent me into the wall again. This time with more substantial damage and unfortunately both right side tires flat, so I didn't make it to the pits. It's a shame as my car was clearly good enough to fight for victory. Anyway, I'm looking forward to my next hundred races here at HSO

So unhappy today

best cart starting position, lost many places on start (boost at 1 and lowered max rews 2 clicks)

go upto 7th but on one pitstop i go under white but was too fast and went to outside wall and didn switch off repairs, lost whole lap , then i was 8th one lap down and then about 200 laps i lost concetratio whem looking in mirrors and took of in high loop after hitting grass

it was my best oval race up this point (great battles , long run with wilks but he closed the doors too much twice, once with small contact - i was in inner side of the track luckily it didn end with crash)

A bit disappointed to be on the losing end of the end-of-the-race push-and-shove, but I had fun. Got some weird penalty at one of final cautions, but I know I finished 4th on track. The '87 is not to prefer over an '88, but I think I made the most of it at least.

Apologies to Jacob for the hit when you were entering the pits. There was so much passing and blocking on the aprons that I didn't read your fade in/out over the line as a pit signal.

Not a fun race overall. Absurd moves, tons of contact from usually lapped cars. One to forget.

That was actually me... Roger won't be happy at all. Took myself out again, with a momentary brain fade somewhere in the first half, was slighly misjudging the speed difference and didn't have the right firm grip  on the wheel to thread it through. Was a short nudge, but immediately felt the car was askew. Kinda felt managable if I didn't push to hard, but then I had to back off more than was good and that sent me really hard into the wall and caused that yellow.

Else, the most positive thing is I kinda finished my first '500 (486 mile race, actually). Not sure what was possible with the car after I was 7 laps down. I could easily keep up with the group fighting for victory in the end, and I was holding back, but I couldn't go Scotts pace early on, but I was probably a little bit faster when fuel burned off. Also got a hit in pits and overshot my pit stop twice, which is stupid, as well. 8th is my best season result in this series, thanks to finishing, but I'm not overly happy about it.

I was not very lucky. First I got scared with a lot of cars putting me back on edge and leaned against the wall, sticking a tire. Then in contention with Raul Jereb we hit and I took the worst and finally, I hit Alan Foster's car crammed on the track. Total time in the pits lost to recover all that damage was 1028 seconds. If I had one more turn, I would have come in 12th place and scored at least 1 point.
next time maybe.

The good news: One of the Dick Simon cars just barely missed victory.

The bad news: It wasn't mine because I finished 17 laps down.

It all started well, the setup was fine (Jan proved it), I managed to stay in fuel saving mode as well as move up the pack, and no near misses excepts once with Pascal.

I was maintaining myself well inside the top 10 following Grant and Pascal, when Pascal went to the inside, hit Grant who got sent into my path and launched my car into outer space. Miraculously I still had four wheels and an engine so I crawled back to the pit lane.

After that I had a bit of a scrap with Bruno in my old car on my way to 11th place. Not too pleased with it, could have been much better.
