Pit Entry and Exit Procedures

During the race, cars entering the pits must fade left briefly on the backstretch to signal their intent.  This rule will only apply if a car is running immediately behind the pitting car.  Failure to follow this procedure could result in a post-race penalty.

During ALL sessions, cars exiting the pits must keep all four wheels below the line until the turn 2 exit, then carefully blend into race traffic.  Failure to follow this procedure could result in a post-race penalty.


Behaviour on track

A few behaviour rules :

- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.

- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.

- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.

- If you have a spin on the course, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure the track is sufficiently clear before you rejoin the race.

- Respect the red condition at the end of the pitlane.


Application and Interpretation of the Regulations

The admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

I want to clear this up having been passed on the inside during the 1973 race.
Is racing and overtaking allowed below the white line?

I don't know if it's "allowed", but I won't get any closer to that grass than the white line. Green means "Go for launch!".

Yes passing under that line is allowed, but if a car is exiting the pits under the line, you have to be aware of it.

So its ok to pass on the inside right down next to the grass?

Yes, but it's highly risky for the person overtaking to do so.
Like Scott says, if you touch the grass you have liftoff.
I for one will not be risking it.
