| Three points-scoring finishes in three races is well beyond my expectations Thank you to Jukka for driving so superbly in the first half of the race; he handed me a pristine car and great track position; bringing the car home 2nd in class was surprisingly drama-free and a lot of fun On to Spa. | |

| Quick question. Is the ferrari just really sluggish out of the corners or is just default setup? I was losing a lot of time out of the turns which made it hard to overtake on the first lap | |

No, thank you for making it to the end; starting a race is infinitely easier than finishing!

| Nice write up Antoine. It was a great race, I was trying my hardest to close the gap, I think I took about 2 to 3 mins off Jan at the end. Well done guys Its nice to finish a race too after the disappointment of the previous two rounds so i Thoroughly enjoyed it, roll onto Spa. | |

I wrote a news article about the race available on the site's front page, any help with nice screenshots to complement it would be greatly appreciated I can't find the article. Could someone post a link? Thanks. Timo

I'll try to make some screenshots and send you a link. Thanks again to the HSO admins for organizing this event. Amazing fight with Richard at the beginning, was a little bit shocked when he dived into the pits at Lap 8. Our strategy would have been 4 stops, but with my speed on boost 1 i almost could drive 13 laps, so we switched to 3 stops. After our driver swap Jan wasn't able to match my fuel consumption, so he had to adjust his driving style to make a 12 lap stint. At the end it worked with an additional stop it would be really close for the victory. Very good driving when lapping cars, thanks to all. In Spa the Lancia will be the car to beat again, i wonder who will be the lucky guys getting it Grats to all finishers, especially Yves with anamazing speed over almost 6 hours

Effectivement. Une fois en anglais, l'article était droit devant mes yeux. Belle pièce, qui résume bien la course. Grand merci, Timo

| Thanks to Matthias Weber, Antoine's article has been completed with a batch of screenshots . Thanks again Matthias . We are having some strange issues with the site lately, particularly as far as image display is concerned. Wherever we host the pics (the site, the ftp or on an outside service) it seems to be reluctant to display them, sometimes even asking for a login+password thing for some mysterious reason. It also greatly varies depending on which browser you use, and maybe also depending on your personnal internet browsing settings and/or PC configuration. Beats me so far, but we'll try and fix that as soon as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime... | |

| So glad to finally see Yves be able to bring the Lancia home and get a deserved result Sad thing about some people having tecnical issues, but I guess in endurance racing you can put it as an additional realism factor, even if not pleasing. Thanks Antoine for the great write-up, and so quick after the race | |

| Thanks to HSO for the event !! Congratulations to all the drivers Very happy for my race (target was finish ... maybe 10th) Happy run near Frank at the beginning, then a great battle with Michal during the first stint, and then again in the last laps of the race. Thanks David Jaques for help me to know 935 in practice, sorry for a misunderstanding while you lapping me. See you in Spa ... and then 83 1000km Ring (upgrading to P956 Obermaier for me, please) | |

| Firstly, apologies for the accident I nearly created when I tried to held the Wattmans to finish the race (I decided to do so as A: They were outside the points at the time and B: Who, in their right mind, wouldn't try to help fellow drivers out in one way or another...), I thought we had a few more seconds so that we would reach the next turn before Richard and company reached the crest, that was sadly not the case thought but thank you for respecting the yellow flags after seeing that Wattmans' Mazda weren't there no more. Now, in other news.... I'm really happy that we, as David x2, was in on getting the 935 to handle appropriately, got the Porsche to the finish, I'm really dissapointed with how I had to make it happen after I had the smallest laps in concentration, hit the cerb the same way as countless times before, but this time didn't lift slightly to accomodate for the turbo wheelspin, seeing the car snap left at Bellof's Esses and into the wall, apparently very similar in style to what happened to David Wattman, alhough his front engine layout probably was the reason that he weren't able to keep going after the impact. Also frustrating was the fact that the game didn't allow for the car to be repaired (either it was because the game felt that I overshot the pit-stall the 1st time in, as that is sadly a known bug, or the game felt the damage was very severe (and it was, no front left wheel, left rear out of alignment, the driveshaft knackered, you name it). Realistically speaking, the car shouldn't even have survived that impact in real life but it was non-the-less frustrating that they game wouldn't register any pitstop And as such I parked it in the garage until the very last lap to at least salvage some kind of points from the event... But on a happy note, the base setup I made for the Ford around here, apparently was good although the Ford clearly wasn't the car to have here (because of its ground effects...) but happy for David x2 to have made the finish and on the podium, getting some good points and, as mentioned, a great finish for a race like this at "da Green Hell" Cheers | |
