| lol well that was fun. surprised I had the pace but had a few issues with the shifter as it kept shifting to 1st instead of 3rd. Might have to use paddles next time. Not too sad that I crashed though. I can sleep now lol and prepare for my piano lesson in the morning xD. Next time I will sleep more and prepare more as every car destroyed me out of the turns in acceleration. Default setup wasnt too bad though. Fun to drive | |

| We ended up being magically teleported to the Grand Prix S/F line at our driver swap. I was in the car getting the countdown. When it hit 0 we were suddenly teleported. John was still able to drive it but fell through a never-ending hole trying to find his way back to the Nordschleife.
Many hours of prep down the drain.

| Sorry to hear that Rob. A completely new issue to us and it looks as though it's only affected yourselves.

No probs! We know how tempremental rFactor can be in these situations. We may have brought this upon ourselves upon reviewing the driver change procedure.

| Man, I thought the anxiety waiting for this one to start was brutal......handing the car off to my team mate and "flying blind"....this is even worse. ...I'm not going to have any fingernails left by the time it's time for me to take the wheel back. | |

...I'm not going to have any fingernails left by the time it's time for me to take the wheel back. I know what you mean. Handing your car over and neither having influence on whats happening, nor any information what's going on is such a weird feeling.

| And then being thrust right back into the action when you go back in.... Surreal... ...and of course, language barriers complicate this tremendously. (If anyone was wondering why my teammate and I just don't communicate via teamspeak).... ...Having a blast though!! | |

| Ah same here Very bad for Pascal indeed - he put a lot of work into this. Saw his facebook pictures right now, sad that you're out that early. Completely overslept the start... Looked on the mph & brake temps and didn't realize the "Green Flag"... Sorry Richard for that small bump i gave you on lap 2 hope nothing happened to your car. | |

I thought so too but the tyres were only good for maybe 12 laps. I had to change our strategy on the fly and handed the car over to Jason on my seconds pitstop after 24 laps. My stint went well - second in class and I think 6th overall - and only had slight bodywork damage from brushing the armco. I tried to take it easy but I felt I was losing the rhythm if I slowed down too much In fact, I took four seconds off my personal best I can only hope Jason still has brakes

| Group C experience much the same. Car can easily go 13, maybe 14 laps on fuel. Tires, not so much. After about 8, they are tricky. After 10 or more...well, I found my way into some wall and tore off a rear wing while running P5, about an hour in.
443 seconds later, the Rondeau pit crew was able to patch her back up and send us on our way. The damage that wasn't repaired seems to be playing a bit of extra havoc on those treacherous hards though.

| Hit one of the verbs at the Bellof Esses and had a book reading slide into the wall. No repairs possible nor dfiverswaps so waiting for the final lap to drag this 3 wheel porsch across the line | |

| And, kicked on the swap.
Worked the first time....crashed me to desktop soon as it gave me control this time.
...yeah, that's beyond frustrating.

| this time after many problems in this series to finish race (soem rf crashes, or DISCOS) i choiced to race alomne in the car, and it was so brutal , my left knee was under hard attack, load cell brake pedal with 30kg power to fully press is good for shorter races than 6h, except of 2 long pitstops (one abot 477s ) a have nice battles with Filippo Marazzi, we was about the same speed for the race, i didnt preapare much, only the 2 Qualli sessions and maybe 1h aside of Qualli, in the setup there wwasdn nothing special to make the car stabile enough for me but in race i get very comfortable except soen strange car changes which ended by crashes to armco causing need of repairs, after 2nd big repair the car lost speed from about 310 on lůong straight to 275 , but it was fun to driwe the car in 4 wheel drifts bbrakes was fine, with lowest pressure they had after race about 60% remaining congrats to all finishers and THX to HSO for this new experince, nearly 6h behind wheel is nearly twice of my previous record (aprox 3h20) | |

| I'm surprised about the tyres and you guys saying they were dead. I was going to do 12 laps on fuel but could easily double stint fronts and was considering double stunting rear tyres | |

| Great write up, Antoine. ...I won't lie. I was quite frustrated and a bit "angry" (about as angry as I can get at what, in the end, is merely a game) about the driver swap issue, especially after prepping to the extreme and trying everything possible to minimize the possibility of something going wrong. However, after a short nap to rest the bones and muscles, I come back to HSO to check out the final results and see this.... - Quote :
- and Whited, probably the fastest man on track considering his car, will be forces to be reckoned with in future events.
And, it put the smile back on my face. Now, I don't really know how true that is...and, there were a lot of fast paced guys running this one. Regardless, I am appreciative of the kind words and am glad I made an overall decent impression in my first race around here. These near 2 months of prep (between the original prep and the prep after the cancellation and updates) felt like they were down the drain with the swap issue...now, I'm feeling much better about it all. And, in the end, I had a blast anyways.....ultimately, that's what I'm here for...not to chase wins, but to enjoy and appreciate good, clean, competitive racing with those of a like mind. Thanks for the racing guys. And thanks to all that are involved in putting all this together, it is much appreciated and the job is often fairly thankless. The effort it takes does not go unnoticed by those that understand the job that it can be. I admin a league elsewhere and understand very well what it takes to make these events happen.
