EVENT SCHEDULE

Wednesday October 15th (all times given are CET) :

20:00 - Free Practice
20:50 - Qualifying Shoot-out (private session, 5 minutes, 1 flying lap)
20:55 - Drivers' briefing and reconnaissance laps procedure
21:00 - Race 1 start (38 laps)
22:00 - Race 2 start (38 laps)

Server Password : hso88
A training server will be running 24/7 (same password).

Behaviour on track

- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.

- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.

- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.

- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.

- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane.

The admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

But I will log in as an admin next race

Just in case I have been misunderstood, I meant just for free practice prior to the official event (But not the "official" free practice of course). And so we also have the option to go straight to race for practice starts (Much needed by some, it seems, me included)

I would not dream of suggesting any changes or restarts during an official event

And, while I am on the subject of "free practice" woild it also be possible to be able to "escape" while on the move for the F1-65 server. I know this issue came up before and the idea of "realsim" was put forward, but I find it helpful to get a more accurate tyre temp reading. Otherwise, I am inclined to do more practice offline. Thanks.

@Mike, I think Mick means while practicing on the server, if it ticks over to qualifying, you cant go back to practice as it will only let admin restart the weekend. So we have to leave and wait for it to go to through qually, warmup and then the race start before we can do practice again.

Does anyone know why I keep getting a TCL.rfm mismatch when I join the HSO server? All the mod seems to work fine offline.

Anyone any idea on this, Ive tried a few things to solve the issue with Alan but no joy so far.

The RFM file is part of the mod install and is found in rFactor/UIdata. If the 635 patch has an RFM file of the same name, try reinstalling that
