Wow, no more Group 5 cars? I wait, maybe someone will change his mind...
Well I'd give you my BMW M1 if one of the Porsche 956 becomes available, then me and Pascal Kalide would take it. But I don't see any chance of a 956 becoming available, so we both would have to wait.

Before cars are added, you guys could have a look again at the track map - this won't be easy, let alone 6 hours of it Forming or joining teams would be a wiser decission, guarantees you the ride and more chances to finish.

Those Grids and Cougars yet to have taken part in a race.
.
No one will take them for sure
The Grid is a very stable easy car to drive. But it lacks power which is a big issue on all the tracks we'll drive on that championnship. At Monza it was 5 second that the Rondeau in my hand (I've try both)
The Cougar is just the worst car ever...unstable, slow... it's just the hell on wheels in this championship. I've tested it at Nordschleiffe today. I was unable to do more than 1 kilometer without loosing a wheel with it...and this on the easiest part of the track

The Cougar can be a bit of a handful but with a firm hand and a setup to go with it, it drives really well, I wouldn't have minded going for it with the guys had they not wanted a faster car, the Cougar would probably never be in for a outright win on pace alone but with, what I've stated above, and a collected drive, it could deffinitely win an event like this one
I drove the same chassis with a different engine in the British championship last year, while I found it frustrating to fight to hang onto the pack the car was nice to drive (on most occasions)

Hehe thanks for the offer My steering wheel is pretty much all I have working, it's all the rest I need : mostly a PC but a good seat and table would be nice too . Working on it though, but won't be ready in time for this here race for sure !

The Grid is a really nice car for the Nordschleife, in my opinion. I drove it around (not on this layout, but still..) and it handled nicely and was very comfortable to drive for extended periods of time (with a proper setup)...
For me though, I could not take the Grid. For some reason, out of all the cars, it creates stutters in my game. No idea why, I don't have this issue with any of the other cars and I basically tested all the group C cars trying to determine what my team would like to drive (and be comfortable with on what is going to be an extremely tough drive)...
I haven't really attempted to rectify that issue, but it seems to be something with the windshield because I can move my FOV around and increase or decrease the stutters as I do so. Weird. Like I said, none of the other marques did this and all ran smooth as butter.
............. A Grid, in the proper hands, could be really competitive here, as other are saying as well. This place has it's own set of rules....and I LOVE IT!! No course tests a driver and car like this place.
I'm really going to have to familiarize myself with this layout though. I've gotten so used to the extreme elevation changes in most of the versions I've seen in rFactor that this place, at times, almost seems new to me...like I'm driving a course I don't recognize. Going to be really challenging to get this one down pat.
.............
Also, while I'm here... Thank you for hosting this race and this championship. So very glad I found this place. This is exactly what I was looking for. And...this mod...it's one of the best I've ever ran. Really loving it and can't put it down, even when I should be doing other things.
Hopefully, this time around, Bruno and I can be competitive, rather than botching the driver swap like I did the last time (all my fault)...
Very excited and looking forward to this one. Can't wait. ..........................
