Sorry to polute your thread with my smugness mate but the JH25B did debute at Magny-Cours, not Mexico . I have said it many times before, but I will never give up on that fight : never use Wikipedia as a source for your historical motor racing work !

Wikipedia is great for many topics such as hard science, history and many aspects of the cultural life, but it is notoriously bad for motor racing history. One of the reasons for that is that motor racing (at large) is probably the most complicated and varied sport on the planet, and has since its beginning been poluted by masses of sub-level publications, whether they are periodicals, books, videos, ...etc. Due to the open/collaborative nature of its concept, Wikipedia can only mirror this pollution and has become the kingdom of the lieu-commun, the worst enemy of the historian in general and of the motoring one in particular .

Grand Prix racing has loads of good reference sites around, the best of which is undoubtedly Forix, which is not free but not expensive either considering the material available in there. For free sites my preferences go to Golden Era of Grand Prix Racing for pre-WW2 years, Darren Galpin's Formula One Archives (not impressive visually but very accurate) or Stats F1.

And of course the best source will always be period documents, either magazines or books. As far as GP racing is concerned you can never go wrong by relying on the likes of Denis Jenkinson, Adriano Cimarosti, Doug Nye, Karl Ludvigsen, Edmond Cohin, Georgano, Monkhouse, King-Farlow, Hayhoe, Hodges et al . Many of the reference books written by these gents are available for next to nothing on e-bay and such .

I think the mod should've labelled the JH25 the JH25B from the start while the one called JH25B should have been the JH27

the B is the same car only other livery in this case

so that B variant can be used for further races

I do it because I'd love for people to pick the correct livery(although not even the mod is 100% correct, remembering the AGS issue), although this is just a copy of the 2013 list, so if I made mistakes reading the car upgrades and skins, they might return this year

It bothered me missing Silverstone, so I updated it for both races

I also noticed some mistakes in my lists: I had written M4/16 instead of MP4/6 and labelled the F191, Fomet-1 and LC91 wrong or left characters away(doesn't look like a big issue, but it was an itch that needed to be scratched regardless).

I also added the TBC for people that haven't confirmed their participation yet(if I get to do my list before the first official session).


Speaking of updates: Richard, are you also going to update the photographs in the entry list thread? Footwork in the meantime has gotten rid of it's Porsche double V6 engine

does anyone of you chaps know what that mPc logo means and from what company it was

if we cant find the logo which is the case atm i hope one of you can make it so we can add them
