EVENT RULES

This Gold Star round will be a bit of a novelty at HSO, as it will be a hotlap session and not a race. This event in real life was the only testing the teams got before the LM 24 week, as the circuit is mostly made of public roads. It will be the first time the glorious Le Mans circuit is used for an official HSO event.

As with the hillclimb events we organized in the past, chatting will exceptionally be allowed (and even encouraged) on the server for the duration of the event. Drivers not comfortable with the chat log being displayed in car can turn it off by editing the following line in their multiplayer file :

Although not being a race, the event will be run along the same general rules as other Gold Star events :

- For this event, we will use the Free-for-All car attribution method, as per the HSO Sporting Code definitions.

- Every driver is free to book any of the available cars, attribution being made on a first-posted / first-served basis.

- Each of the 6 classes will get full Gold Star points (5-4-3-2-1 to the first five).

After the completion of the 2-hour official session, a 5-lap fun race will be held. Starting order will be based on results of official session. Start will be given standing without a formation lap.

Sunday March 29th (all times given are CET) :

19:00 - Free Practice
20:00 - Official Session (120 minutes - unlimited number of laps)
22:15 - Fun Race (5 laps)
