All the cars of the HS0 1972 Formula 5000 mod are allowed. Addon skins are not allowed. Car choice is free. However the administrator can refuse to grant a driver a car that -he thinks- is too fast for him. In this case, the driver will have to choose another car.
Training Server
A training server running on the next scheduled track will be online permanently. Password : hso72
Planning
Race will be held the June 15th (all times given being CET, Paris Time) :
8:00pm - Qualifying session (60 minutes, unlimited number of laps) 8:50pm - Warm Up 9.00pm - Start of the race (55 laps)
Race server password : hso72
Qualifying
The starting grid for the race will be determined by the 50-minute qualifying session held immediately before the race.
Race Start Procedure
--> Reconnaissance Laps <--
Start will be given standing, after one formation lap.
Behavior on Track
- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only. - A driver who would have to do a drive through penalty will have to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph), even if there is no pit lane speed limit announced for the track. A driver failing to respect this will get a 40s penalty added to his final race time. - Shortcuts : a driver gaining a position after shortcutting a turn is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his final race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track. For those who would ignore it, the definition of "the track" is the black strip of tarmac making the circuit layout .

Whaaaaat? You never tried one of the best mod for rFactor. It's scandalous. Generally (and not General Lee, what happens I play with words in english ), I don't like the open-wheels, but I find that the feelings, in the steering wheel, are wonderfull.

Yea me to ben, i really hated open wheel cars after trying iracings horrid f1 model (waste of money). I thought it was completely garbage. Then i seen at the beginning of this year there was a 65 f1 opening had to try it. Its leaps and bounds over iracing. Its amazing how home made mods drive, feel , handle better than a laser scanned car on a laser scanned track.

You will see, the F5000 mod give great sensations, in my opinion. Just need to be sweet on the throttle in the first laps until the tires have the good temp, and after it's hapiness on wheels.

So are these the 72 f1 cars? Sry there seem to be so many types of open wheel cars.

They are similar, but the powerplants are completely different. 5000cc V8s that sound like the world is coming to an end

You can and the net result will be LOTS more time to play games but probably a very painful impact on cash flow
