Just be aware. If you go too low on the ride height the car will bottom out, potentially through a corner and you will lose all grip.
If you want tips, read the physics guide, located in the vehicles folder. It will advise you on setup, optimum tire temps, how to use the engines. Give it a good read.
You can let one corner bottom out at high speed in corners like 1 and 2 here but in slow corners if anything drags you are volunteering to mow the lawn. Sometimes backwards.

Practiced some more today and could not get within a second of my best lap yesterday. This mod kills brain cells

im probably thinking about this too much, but question about procedure for qualifying. after our hot lap(s), should we pull over and get off the track asap or should we realistically drive back to the pits? most other times it wouldnt matter that much, here with these cars traffic will be a key issue. im good either way, i just want to make sure im on the same page as everyone else, please advise.

I would get off the track so as to not get in the way of others, but rFactor will count the lap after you cross the line. So a hot lap will at minimum consume three laps out of the 12 allotted (the out lap, the hot lap, and the in lap)

Thank god there's a qualifying on Saturday, maybe I can improve... Had the pole position for over half an hour and then suddenly a Tyrrell takes it by 0.358 seconds... Just.. I really hope that I can improve on Saturday because I want to at least start from Row 1...

I'm not sure what is most frustrating with tonights qualifying session...
Weather that lap will be good enough or not to make the grid....
Or...
The fact that I've never been close to that lap in 300 laps worth of qualifying practice (of about 1500 laps in total...)...
But at least a good banker lap to go with to then try to go all out on Saturday in a try to improve, maanged to do so at Spain in 2012 but still feels very unlikely at the moment

Oh boy, I'm seriously pi... dissappointed. I turned better laps on soft tires than I was able to turn on qualifiers tonight, not even cutting the 1.22 mark. Not to mention I couldn't ever get my sectors together. 5 seconds to my team mate do really hurt. And above all, I accidentally turned off my computer while the session was still in progress...

I did a few offline laps in Williams. The second quick lap was 1:15,3. Footwork is six seconds off the pace. Poor guys who had to drive it in the real world. Nevermind, i gave it a try and it's a new experience not to qualify for a race And i didn't even notice that there will be a race until today evening, so no harm done
