Yes you will have to lower the boost during the race.

Is the fuel consumption correct? I have 1,5L per Lap, so full distance is only possible with less boost or pitting?

It is correct and yes you need to plan accordingly. I am finding that the intense rear tire wear makes it a good thing late in the race to drop the 3 or 4 boost to prevent wheel spin at exit which gets nasty.

I hope it's okay for everybody that I'm posting this here, because on Facebook, Mike Becnel told me that there will not be an official HSO live broadcast this Sunday
Mike Becnel wrote:
Since we are not doing an HSO live stream it looks like you are the only live stream.
Given that information, I'd like to leave the announcement of  my Facebook page  here and for everone on Sunday, here's the YouTube stream link:

As I said, I hope it's okay for everybody who'd like to watch the race from my point of view. Smile

I have a problem selecting my car.

A few days ago I tested the Alba on the server. Now the only cars I can select when going online are Albas, I have no other choice. Is there a solution for this?

Do what I told you the other day.

Load a different mod in game, one of the default rfactor ones
Close rfactor
Re open rfactor and select the gtpc mod
Close rfactor
Restart rfactor and you should be able to select all cars again.

I have also solved this problem by starting an offline race with all cars selected as opponents and then I could see my car online.

I tried that, it didn't help. Mike's solution did sort the problem. :top:

Glad it worked! I went ahead and put this mod in its own installation as this happened again when I swapped over to the WS70 mod.

I am sorry I will not be there to provide requisite "oh no's" and "oh goodness" exclamations, but I would like to make one observation and request:

In the Norisring race, there were multiple instances of people misjudging braking distances and hitting cars in the back.  Diepholz is similar in terms of hard braking situations, so I would ask everyone to please exercise caution -- especially in the opening laps, and give your HSO friends plenty of room Smile
Hope everyone has a great final round!

Wife and Kids decided to make plans for the day for us....So I'm not going to be able to make it. Not that I'm gonna complain, I just couldn't wrap my head around this track and my Porsche.

So if anyone wants it, the #15 936C is available.

Late entry here. I've got a feeling I won't survive the race, and I seriously hate the track, but I'll race it nontheless.

Good race, I could hold the pace just well enough until my tires went to hell.... Then the BUG! came again, after a pit stop! After a pit stop, the lap counter doesn't work anymore! And it's also the case for Jonatan Acerclinth, who had done a pit stop! Honestly, this is really pissing me off.... I could have had such a good position and it all got ruined by that fu***ng bug! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

But still it was a good series, at least I had one good race at Mainz...

Ugh, hate this track. Had a nice top 5 lined up but came into contact with James K as he was trying to recover from a gate induced flight.

Very sorry Jan Titz, I had no idea you would brake that hard and early before the bottom gate. My fault 100%. Embarassed Very sorry it caused a DNF.

Grats to David J and Simon for the wins!

Mr Richard Coxon will be posting the results for this race.

Hm, DRM and me, no love story...

Actually, the weekend started pretty well, I felt comfortable with the car, run almost as fast with soft tires than I did before with qualifiers, and topped that off with my best lap at this track bringing all sectors together for once. And I got ahead off all DIY-Porsches, which was more than I expected. Quali also showed me I'd need a lot of patience to make it, but it all didn't feel so bad.

Adapting to race fuel was a bit difficult at first, but my start wasn't to bad, I was in fifth for quite some time, had a real fun battle with Ray in the Lancia, then lost it for once in the backstraight chicane, got back into my rhythm, fetched Pascal at some point, then Ray had a spin, I was back to fifth, and it all felt not to bad, both my car and handling the traffic. Then about halftime, I closed in on one of the Albas, and apparently figuring out how to put him a lap down, I was a bit distracted, clipped one of those tire chicanes and landed on my roof. Insert a four letter word of your choice right here _ _ _ _ .
Until that point, I was pretty happy with my race, but apparently, all went a bit too well. That kind of improvised tracks seem not to work well with me... Crying or Very sad

I hope we'll see this mod again, I only did two races with it but it was fun.

My hopes for a podium place went down the drain quickly. I'd qualified third of the 956's but I spun early on. Gerard was on the same pace as me so all I could do was hold on to fourth place.
