This rule will only apply if a car or cars are running immediately behind the pitting car. Failure to follow this procedure could result in a post-race penalty.During the race, cars exiting the pits must keep all four wheels under the white line until they exit turn two, then they can blend into race traffic. Failure to follow this procedure could result in a post-race penalty.Race Start Procedure and Full Course Yellow (En français en dessous) The start will be given flying behind the game-controlled pace-car. This series will see the appearance of the Full Course Yellow procedure. When rFactor judges that a situation is risky (a car stopped on the track, a spin on a speedway etc..), he will throw a Yellow Flag. From the time this Yellow Flag is thrown, overtaking is forbidden, but if you have doubt about your position, rFactor will tell you where you have to be when you will cut the start/finish line. At the same time the pitlane will be close, it will be open again for the cars in the lead lap after one full lap behind the Safety Car. For the car which are a lap or more down, they will have to wait another lap. rFactor will anyway tell you in the chat all these informations (don't deactivate in-car chat). When the Safety Car is out, you must keep a normal pace until you reach the the line of cars behind the SC. Otherwise you'll get a penalty. Same when you exit the pitlane under yellow, you have to be quick enough to rejoin the SC. Full Course Yellow will last between 3 or 5 laps each time. /!\ On oval track the leader will have to be careful to not overtake the Safety Car when the latter is exiting the pitlane. /!\ Drivers must be on a single file for the restart. Training Server A training server running on the next scheduled track will be online permanently. Password :hso73 Behaviour on trackA few behaviour rules : - as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you. - Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only. - Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race. - If you have a spin on the course, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure the track is sufficiently clear before you rejoin the race. - Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane. | Those of you who have driven Trenton before, it has been updated, so you will need to re-download it ...and don't forget the "B" patch

| Anyone have an Eagle setup from the Open race last year? Also, will these be scored as 2 separate Rounds? or will there be an overall winner based on the 2 heats? I know they did that with some of these races but not all of them. | |

These will be scored as two separate rounds. Any setups from last year may not be effective now since the physics have changed.

| Here we go Pardon my ignorance, but this cars are so difficult to drive, I can barely focus my mind on performance, at least in this stage... so, please, few advises would make this much more comfort for me: 1. what chassis config to use? - I tryed (default?) superspeedway, and Im not able to enter T1 without killing everybody... 2. Front wings flap stagger? I know what flaps are on F-14 , so, the production year is around this one, but I doubt I have flaps on this chairot! - what is this and what you suggest I install?? 3. Tyre softness???? 1.00 - 1.25 - 1.50 - 1.75... Are these water pipe radious or what?? Ok, i suppose its not pipes... so, just a little clarification would help me a lot, at least to be aware what Im dealing with.. After dealing with this details, Ill try to not bother you any more.. but please, if you feel comfortable with suggesting any other setup "a must have" (wings, suspension...), dont be shy... grazzie a tutti!!! | |

The mod will recognise the good configuration you need provided you've download the B patch. Just pick your car and don't bother about the chassis conf. For information Trenton isn't a superspeedway - Raul Jereb wrote:

Nothing to do with softness. It's the difference of size between left and right tyres. On ovals the tyres are smaller on the inside to make the car turning easier (well so I've been said )[/quote]

| 1. The game will automatically select the correct one for you when you practice online, but the 3rd one speedway is the correct one.
2. Choose whichever one you want, the description tells you what effect they have.
3. The numbers are the stagger on the wheels. The right hand wheels are bigger, which means the car turns left more, so the higher the number, the more the car will want to turn left. Again pick what you are comfortable with, but a higher number may be better here.

More stagger helps corner entry (Less understeer) and getting around it better, but will cause more oversteer at corner exit when applying throttle. Present

Like I said before, Texas was a power track, this is more of a handling track. Provided you set up the car right, you could be more competitive here.

Seems I'm not 32.721 in qualif boost...that's very very slow But's not a problem. I'm not competitive all together. I'm not sure I could do better with another car
