| Thanks for the explanations, fellas. I took out the BMW 2002Tii and Alfa late this morning with default setups and my first flyer lap was under 1:40 for the beemer and just a tick off with the Italian machine. By comparison, my best in the big-bangers is up in the 1:44 bracket.
Think I'll pass on the race as I can't see being lapped a half dozen times or better by a puddle jumper.

| What is the usual strategy for TA2 cars anyone? Fuel and tires, Or just tyres? | |

Think either one stop either no stops. If you stop, probably both tyres and fuel. Just my 5 cents. Timo

| Présent. Edit : On your TA1, your headlights work or not? Edit 2 : It seems the others TA1 have only backlights working, no headlights too. It's in pity to communicate with others drivers about apologizes, or lapped car. | |

Maybe it has to do with the track, it happens sometimes ? We had the same problem at Road Atlanta last year with this mod, the headlights were not working on some portions of the track.

Don't think so, most TA1 cars have their headlights covered, so they don't work, not a mod error, just that they don't have working headlights.

| Maybe some errors too, because on the camaro'70, no headlight and no backlight. But on the camaro'68, no headlights too, but backlight work. And about some others TA1 cars I watched, no headlight, but backlight work. | |

| Ah yes right Ricard, I was more thinking of the TA-2 class indeed, such as the BMW 2002 I had at the Road Atlanta race I mentionned. You're right about the TA-1 cars they're in period Trans-Am specs in the mod Too bad there is no upgrade to uncover the lights though, as those same cars often also raced in the North American endurance races at Daytona, Sebring and Watkins Glen back then | |

Backlights should work yes, if not it is indeed an error. In real life the headlights were covered to gain a little bit on aero draft as they were useless in daytime Trans-Am races, but of course the brake backlights were a mandatory thing to have working on the cars.

| Intermittent lag problems until finally connection lost and found myself driving on an empty track Anyway, struggling with the car after being too optimistic about the final gear ratio and choosing a too long one. Horrible understeer at all corners and having to resort to 1st gear many times and throwing the car around = Destroyed tires. Some good fighting with Gerard | |
