I'm a bit surprised of my position, I thought Oscar and Olivier would have been faster, but everything could change Saturday. Meanwhile, looking at my best sector, I know i should be able to do something like 1'20'8 :raclure:

1.22 with the Shadow I take 6 seconds a lap with the same car . Even Mark is ahead of me this time Mark. I'll try to do a 1.27 saturday but I'm not sure I can do it. Once again point me to the back row

Pratice I have. Belief...just need some relief in fact That's not really in me I need to believe. I'll never be a top gun, more a average one. But Zolder is that kind of tracks (like Monza, Snetterton or old Spa) I dislike. And on those tracks whatever I do, I'll never have any belief in me. Ask the GPLers here, they'll say you I'm a bit monomaniac on cars but also on tracks. If I like, I'll do everything to improve. If not.......vae victis (remember the Eagle Frank )

Well, I don't like it too but I never surrender to that. If you have the praactice you should also consider if you try sometimes to "overdrive" the car.

I'm already overdriving the car. My multiples crashes are a testimony to this. Don't forget also I'm learning the mod and most of the tracks we use. Exept for Kyalami (but I don't race there), Silverstone (minus the last chicane), Zandvoort and Monza (save the chicanes), I've never done a lap on all tracks the championship uses

1.28.1. Finalement le 1.27 n'est pas si loin que celà car en PB partiel j'atteins le 1.27.5. Bon ca reste à des années lumieres d'un 1.22

I'm nearing the 1.26.9 Just done a 1.27.09 with two little mistakes (a small oversteer on exit at T4 and a brakin a bit to early on last chicane). Seem I need a car a bit stiffener on front wheel than you, Tiago.
Hope I could reach 1.26.9 on the qualifying session 8) It may be worthy to try qualifying tyres too

For what I've seen You get a second using quali tyres against the soft ones

I'll probably can't make it to the qualy today either, but will be in the race tomorrow

As for the catastroph occuring to me in M1 race don't think I'll be able to make that 1.26.9. I've lost to many nervous influx on this one for nothing. Well being on last row seems to be my place whatever.
I've, too, to hope my connection won't failed me. I'm not really optimistic as it happens before and it take one month to get back to normal

I've done my PB with a astonishing (for me) 1.26.666 (ooops devil's number ). Never think I could do such a time. Thanks for your set Tiago. Three quaters of this is relevant to it.

But.....
I'm not realy satisfied because, on the last lap at the last minute, I was nearly one second faster until Rindt (-.885 said the HUD). Then I do a slight mistake (don't brake hard enough. Not simple in heel toe's driving ) and spins . Without it I'll probably be in 1.25.8 or event best. We'll never know

I've done a run of 25 laps in race set up. Full tanks, tyres...well guess wich type and I'm running consistently (and rather safely. Done only three spins at Rindt...no two at Rindt and one at T2) between 1.30.5-1.29.5.

For the race only one goal: see my checkered flag in...well not for first time in official championship here as I've already see one at Silverstone in BSCC..in F1 79. It won't be a simple task as the track is rather unforgivenable of mistakes (rather good training for the next one). Add to it a internet connection rather jiggering. But as it's said 'impossible n'est pas francais' (but I'm briton...and not britain nor english )

Well just try not to "win" the race in the first few laps. I will have to concentrate myself also no to do that, because it happens more often than I would want; find your pace and do not think of women while drivng
