True, great battle between us here. This track instigates to overtake.

Anyone can suggest a better mirror FOV to put in .plr ? In 2nd race i tried 12 (14 default in 1st), but result was not so good (i use virtual mirrors).

| "Once this second countdown has reached 00:00 and the pitlane is closed, a third and final 2-minutes countdown starts." At the end, this part of starting procedure was not functioning or, as yesterday, we have to start after the 5 minutes of reconnaissance laps ? | |

At the end, this part of starting procedure was not functioning or, as yesterday, we have to start after the 5 minutes of reconnaissance laps ? It worked correctly. You had 5 minutes to clear the pits then 2 minutes to get to the grid before the starting lights cycled and started the race. The key is you must be out of the pits in 5 minutes then on the grid before the end of the last 2 minute countdown. It is a good idea to map the ignition and starter functions to your keyboard or wheel. Most shut their engines off while waiting on the grid.

| I'm really happy that lots of people got part in this Open HSO Event: it shows the interest in this era of racing is far greater than we (and I) expected to be Maybe the 1961-1964 mods won't be a mere thought after all Oh, before I forget: we know it, the mirrors are a pure mess. François and me have already found a viable replacement, but we couldn't post it to the leagues because it's part of a far wider overhaul in graphics and physics that pretty much requires to download the mod all over again. So, to not make the same dumb mistake Pirelli made this year in the real F1, we decided that is better to at least wait some time: in this way, he can work out the issues on the tracks with Philrob (and whoever decides to help him out here ) and I can manage to find a good UI and work out some glitches on the cars | |

| I had lots of fun in this race, well not so much but i gained confidence.
becuase i was not sure if i could stand a race pressure. the historic race was a mess becuase the low FPS made the car undriveable, still i managed to finish there, so i had to get some confidence, now i have it. thanks to be back in racing
the race pressure turned out to be not so hard so i could lean back and drive as if i was alone. that is no hero-work, but with other pressure it wouldve been complicated.
luckily i know the track from gpl, so i wasnt scared. i cannot report much on the race, because my fat horsepower car, which i didnt know, didnt let any happeneings to tell.
but i am very wondering why i did the fastest lap with used tires at race end.
the track is difficult to drive in my opinion.
ah what can i tell: tahnks to al lthe backmarkers, but all got scared due to the mirrors. still many people did a sane decision, knowing when to brake. only barresi didnt get along with the mirrors and quite drove me off track on the outside, was very close, he just wanted to go 2 wide in the first left hander lol, luckily we survived

The tires are good for a full race (+300 km), like it did back in the days
