Since i had to re install rFactor with the new 1255g .exe and 1255f .exe is no longer an option non of my plugins will work with any of my rfactor installs ... Just wondered if anyone else had managed to find a work around this

the d3d9.dll is not the same for rfdyn plugin and xd plugin, maybe your problem is that. Sometimes, the issue comes from the used version of the - :
rfactor.exe (no dvd)

I don't tend to use add-on HUDs - I find them horrible to set up and cluster the screen. It also adds to the realism of Historics by not using HUDs But there are times when I wish I had them... In fact, in another league I've competed in, the use of add-on HUDs is disallowed and rFScan is used to monitor that

| Incline your ears, and hear your engine. They did like that to know the health of their motor. | |

| Unfortunately there isnt a plugin only for engine life. Im using GID. And you have to spend a bit of your time to properly configure it. | |

| i hoped that those mentioned plugins could solve it: taht i could pick the gauges from them.
jp campmago: if i race gpl 50 races and have no engine damage i know how to shift
if i come to a new mod and there is danger of engine blow up why not use indicators? .......

| XD has always been just so easy to use it gives the basic information you need and it does give an uncluttered look in my opinion .. Not over complicated like rfdynhud and gid which is more suited to modern day mods ... I Will be very careful and do not tend to over rev the engine in a race but i was thinking more along the lines of taking a picture once i cross the line to show Martin the state of the engine and other info for this which is really an open test race for next years championship | |

| What is overrevving?
is it in rF ALWAYS then when the indicator in the gauge of rF itself gets red? because u have engine wear limits and u can state a red line. after taht u state taht for example every 50 rpm the wear is doubled.
BUT: Is it always when its red or do you state redline in a different line in the engine ini so that it has nothing to do with it?

Guys, guys, guys. Don't do the same mistake I did: the gates to the track are down there, could you please wait the moment you step in the cars to have satisfaction? We are gentlemen, aren't we?
